A:  I really don’t know, as my grill is propane powered on a composite deck.  Frankly, I do nt thnk I would use any charcoal grill on wood or composite material.  You may want ti investigate the asbestos type protector if you want to use it on a deck.

A:  We have never had an occasion to test it. I suggest that you read the specs for the mat that you are purchasing to see what is said about the particular mat you're choosing.

A:  I don’t see why not.  It’s a rubber mat with some indoor outdoor carpet on it.
