A: I have not used it this type of application but I feel certain that with the abrasive cloth provided, the no-run flux paste and quick heating time it would work very well to solve your leak problem.

A: Yes and no. You still have to clean the joint and prep it and after that you can use this. You will need to take it all apart, most likely before you put it back together

A: No, you need a coupling, brace or new pipe section to repair that. But this kit can help you install it.
