Q:Can this be applied a second time on cedar after a period of 4 years ?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Jeff, we would recommend doing a water absorption test before re-applying more stain. Drop some water on the surface and if it beads up then it is still sealed and I would not recommend another coat yet, but if the water absorbs into the wood then it is time for another coat. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us at techservicerequests@ppg.com or 1-800-441-9695 between 8am-5pm ET.
