Answer This Question
A: Kitchen tops are 24" deep, so yes these would be adequate but laminate tops have a nasty habit of bowing when not supported properly. It may seem like overkill but I'd support the countertop every four feet to keep bowing to a minimm

A: Any kitchen countertop would normally rest upon, be attached to and supported by the base cabinets.
That said, these brackets are substantial enough to support a properly-attached freestanding laminate kitchen countertop. Space the brackets to ensure that the load on the countertop between adjacent brackets does not exceed the capacity of the countertop material.

A: The best way to mount these brackets in Concrete is to use Power Driven nails any other way will be a hassle. Use small washers so the nail head doesn't pull through the hole to mount the bracket.

A: You always need to mount the brackets on a wall that has 2x4 or 2x6 studs under the dry wall and use lag bolts on the brackets. Minimum size 1/4" by 3", reason being over the years someone will always try to hang something heavier than should be.
