A:  What exactly is your question? You said " I need sand for a pool". I'm guessing you are putting up an above ground pool and need to know if this kind of sand will work to level it. If that's what you need to know, this is good sand for the job. Without knowing the size of the area, you'll have to refer to the sand calculator on the back of the bag. I've included a screenshot of that for you to give you an idea. This sand is clean and sifted, no sharp rocks in it. Nice and soft. We use it to hold down an umbrella base. Most pools are leveled with a 2 inch base of sand. According to the calculator on the bag, if your pool is 10 X 20 ' will require 67 bags for a 2 inch base. Look at the calculator as it shows a formula to figure it out. Good luck.

A:  Hi, Beau I'm really not sure this would be the product to use. It doesn't say anywhere on the product page that this can be used for potted plants in water garden ponds. A:  no, it doesn't stain at all. I use it to mix with powdered cement to make cement garden ornaments - and no stains unless I put a color stain intentionally into the mixtures. but just working with the sand - no - no stain.........
