If you place a small thin rubber band at the end of the hex wrench and insert it into the hex screw, it may give you the grip to unscrew it from the handle. A:  I had. NEIGHBOR THAT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH LEAKY FAUCET.I CHECK IT ,SO BADLY CORRODED.I ASKED TERRY,DO YOU HAVE A WATER SOFTNER. NO.I HAVE NEVER HAD THE PROBLEM AS I HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE. MY FAUCETS ARE SEVERAL YEARS OLD,WATER FLOWS JUST LIKE THEVFIRST DAY. TERRY DID PUT IN A WATER SOFTNER.

A:  We have a WATER softener ,and the orfice is free of build up of calcium.SPOTLESS and we have had for about 5 years.I would think you might want to check your water supply, source of your water.

If your current faucet uses 1/2" supply lines with 1/2" fittings you may be able to use your existing supply lines, if not then you will need to purchase the 1/2" water supply lines with 1/2" fittings.
