A:  And yes this fixture only comes with 6 inches of chain but several feet of wire! Hanging over a table with 9 foot ceilings or even 8 feet does not work. Cannot understand why manufacturer only did 6 inches as now I need to either buy additional chain or return the chandelier. Not happy.

A:  This light does indeed include 6" of chain at the top of the fixture where connecting to the ceiling canopy. Below the ceiling canopy is 54" of threaded connectable pipes that can be shortened (2 x 12" + 1 x 6") in any combination. The 6" of chain at top allows for the fixture to be mounted on a sloped ceiling. The specifications are correct on the website.
