Try a hose reel for an air compressor or a 5/8 or 3/4 garden hose reel.
I used a hose reel and modified it (removed the place where the hose attached to reel) to accept electrical cord. Had to use a smaller gauge extension cord to go through were the hose adapter into the reel when in but that setup should accommodate at least 200 feet of this 10 gauge cord.

SJTW indicates of the type of wire inside and the covering sheath protecting the wire. SJTW stand for Service Junior Thermoplastic Weather. (weather resistant) Basically it means you can string it out on a site and not worry about electrocuting yourself if there are damp spots. But of course good sense says that would be exceptional and not your everyday case.
SJTW stands for Hard service cord, thermoplastic constructed jacket, 300 volt, weather resistant for outdoor use. S = service, J = Junior, T = Thermoplastic/Vinyl, W-A = Weather Approved
