A: This unit is to be used with Ryobi type (there are 3rd party compatible batteries) 40V batteries of various amp hr capacities (I have 40V 4 and 5 AMP HR capacity)
A: Hello, Brys - Thank you for your question. No. This tool should only be used with RYOBI 40v Li-Ion batteries. I hope this helps! Additionally, if you need further support, then a RYOBI Customer Experience Professional is here for you, Monday - Friday from 9 am to 6 pm (EST) when you call or text us at 1.800.525.2579 or through email or live chat when you visit us at https://www.ryobitools.com/support/contact. And thank you again for your interest in the 40V 300-Watt Power Source (Tool Only). - Jewel
A: no 40 volt battery only 40V 7.5 ah will work
A: I know it'll run a TV for hours, but they don't draw as much as a heater or an electric blanket. It might work, but I don't know for how long.
A: Hello, Debicita - Thank you for your question. If the blanket does not pull more than 300 watts then, yes. I hope this helps! A: Yes it should work. I used it for my Traeger grill and had no problems at all.
A: Hi Leroy, overall it's around 8.3W. If measured momentarily when cold it's 5-6W. But this rises to over 7W after a few mins and once every minute the inverter experiences a current surge of up to 4A lasting about 1 second which adds to the overall draw.
A: Hello, Leroy - Thank you for your question. I'm sorry, this information is not provided. I hope this helps! A: 5/9/12/20V DC - 2A
A: Hello, Bonna - Thank you for your question. The USB-C port is rated at 5/9/12/20 Volts, up to 2 Amps. I hope this helps! A: I'm not sure, but it supports "Super Fast Charging" on my S20 Ultra.
A: Hi Bonna, the specs say USB-C does 5/9/12/20v at up to 2A. That's up to 40W at 20v. I have one device which does 2A at 12v (24W). Power Deliver is not mentioned so likely a proprietary implementation. If USB-A is in use then USB-C is limited to 5v only.
A: Depends on the total watts for both devices.
A: Yes, and you can plug a microwave into the pigtail extension.
A: Hello, Steven - Thank you for your question. It is possible, however it will drain your battery much faster and may not run both products at 100%. I hope this helps! A: Probably.
A: Hello, Robert - Thank you for your question. I'm sorry, no. This item only uses RYOBI 40v batteries. I hope this helps! A: 300 watts, so you have to check the amp draw of the saw. multiply it by 120 (voltage) and that will you the watt draw. 2.5amp is max draw.
A: I use both Ryobi 40V batteries and plug-compatible 40V 5 Amp hour batteries. Regardless of brand, favor the larger capacity batteries: 200 Watt hours is a bit more than 30 minutes at full 300W.
A: Yes, you will likely need additional 4Ah or larger batteries for this inverter. I have used non-oem but compatible form-factor 5Ah 40V batteries with this 300W inverter and profiled them vs. the OEM batteries. It turned out that these specific non-oem batteries (no longer available at least under the name that I purchased) were (to my surprise) pretty much on-spec capacity-wise at these lower delivery rates, so they seemed cost-effective to drive the inverter and some of my lower-draw tools ( I bought a second at an additional discount as that brand was being discontinued). They would not run my Ryobi top-handle chainsaw at full speed, so they were not as interchangeable as I'd hoped . As you probably know, for a given Lithium-ion battery there is an inverse relationship between capacity and number of charge-discharge cycles, so even if the nameplate rating is accurate, you risk that the less costly batteries may favor capacity at the expense of lifetime. If you can use other 40V tools, another strategy is to buy additional Ryobi tools in kits that include larger OEM batteries that can be used for your inverter during a power outage.
A: Not to my knowledge
A: Hello, Electricchainsawman - Thank you for your question. I'm sorry, no. This inverter is perfect for powering laptops, tablets, cell phones, and other small electronics. I hope this helps! A: I don't know about a chainsaw, but I do know our 35" tv will run for at least 3 hrs tailgating before the game. It still had half the power of the battery left.
A: I would check the amp output of the power inverter and the amps required to run the chainsaw. I'm guessing that would be no though. It works great for things that have a steady draw off power. Where a chainsaw has a variable draw that depends on how hard you press the chainsaw down into the wood or how hard the woods is, I think you'd fry the power inverter.
A: No.
A: Most likely Not. You're chainsaw is likely to be more than 300 watts
A: Hi Mgriff. Yes, it should power multiple strings of modern mini Christmas lights -- LED (5W/70 bulb string) or incandescent (41W/100 bulb string). A 4Ah batt (144Wh) should run two 70 LED strings for 6+ hours or two 100 incandescent strings for 1+ hour.
A: Hello, Mgriff - Thank you for your question. If they do not pull more than 300 watts then, yes. I hope this helps! A: It should power a few strings of typical Christmas lights for several hours. Just an estimate. It is not waterproof and would need to be protected from the weather. Working with limited information here, but 12v lights could be a better solution, depending on your needs.
A: Yes, you should be able to. Just need to be careful of total wattage. It uses a 40v battery, so if you had a 5AH battery you would get a total of 200 watt hours. You could run 200 watts for 1 hour or 1 watt for 200 hours (or anything in between). That would be ideal conditions with no loss in the system so you will actually get less. Home Depot sells a 40ft c7 set (100 bulbs) that says it uses about 10watts, so theoretically it should last about 20 hours with a 5ah battery
A: It will power a light, it has limited wattage so I would recommend the LED style xmas lights as the draw is much less than incandescent light strings.
A: Does not require any power cords, you charge your 40V Battery in the normal charger you have. This just converts the DC battery back to AC, and you plug in other AC devices to this with their cords.
A: Yes it comes with a power cord
A: Hello, Trinity - Thank you for your question. I'm sorry, no. This item does not come with a cord. I hope this helps! A: No power cord is needed. You place your 40 volt battery into the charging slot and use it to power other devices such as cell phones, laptops, etc.
A: No cord. It is battery powered, but there is no battery in this box either. It is tool only.
