I had the same question. There is a photo of this exact configuration in the listing above. One 40v battery invertor paralleled to an 18v invertor. I assume that means "yes". In the photo they left the ground lug unconnected.
I don’t believe that the responder understood the question. I read a response to a similar question on the 40V inverter page and the Ryobi rep said that the 40v and 18v could not be connected in parallel. I don’t have experience to verify this.

Don't know about the 30 amps , but it allows me to run two generators and I can run my air conditioning and microwave.
It will not power a 240 volt device. 120 volts only even with parallel kit.
