Hi Ray, It will fit but it will require going under the table to make any adjustments with a plunge type router. Thanks for asking. Greg
Since I don’t know the part number for the Router Edge Guard pictured above I can’t answer for sure if it will fit your router. I died find an instruction manual for an Ryobi R175. According to the manual I found on line for a Ryobi R175 you need Ryobi part number 6090080. They appear to still be available on line from different places. I hope this helps.

Yes it is compatible
Thank you for asking, Madmaerou. This router edge guide is compatible with most RYOBI routers, including this model RE180PL1. I hope this helps and we appreciate your interest in RYOBI! -Keri
Kari I have a small Roy I router and the holes to fit the guide in are close to the bottom of the base. Your ryobi router is called a trim router and holes for the guide look higher up from the base, I don’t think the guide won’t fit right. There must be a different guide for it. You might check with ryobi
It’s works really well. Used it,to tongue and groove some 16’ long boards and it worked like a charm.
Hi Karl, This is for the full sized routers. The R601 is a compact router. Please call our customer service to find parts near you. 800-525-2579. Thanks for asking. Greg
Yes, the guide would work well for that application, however I would suggest clamping a 2x to the piece being routed to increase the surface for the router face and provide the edge for the guide. Also cutting the dado in multiple passes would be easier on the cutter and use a good quality carbide cutter.
Yes you can, just use caution and secure work piece! I used it for fluting design shown in picture
Hi Jack, The guide will fit the model router you listed. Thanks for asking. Greg
I don't see why not. I've made similar cuts with the edge guide and it's worked fantastic.
Yes! Ive done it . Set it up and test on a piece of scrap to make sure the bit is positioned correctly Take it nice and slow
