A:  I can’t answer this question for you, but it wouldn’t  hurt to try as you will still need to use some sort of product to keep white tiles as clean and white as possible.

A:  I’ve never used one but I don’t see why not.

A:  Honestly - I tried this product to clean very dirty grout and cracks and inlets normal in travertine marble that had gotten dirty. I didn't find this product did any better than either bleach cleaner or simple green (my personal recommendation). We live in a dustbowl and grout and tile is going to get dirty over time. THe steam mop my help with any cleaner on a regular basis to cut down the problem.

We do not suggest the use of a steam mop in-conjunction with any of our products because all of our products are water based and steam mops can make the finished results appear hazy. A:  As far as I know it can be. Just clean the floor of dirt and use it with warm water. You also might want to check with who you bought it from to make sure it’s ok so if there is ever a warranty issue you would be covered.

A:  I have gray and tan grout. This product cleaned it very well and because it was dirty it could have appeared lighter but actually it looks like it did when it was put down. I'm no expert at grout but it might depend on the quality of the grout whether it gets lighter or not.

A:  I love this product. I have colored grout but it is a lighter sand-like shade to begin with (but definitely not white or even close). I haven’t noticed any lightening effect from using it, but I would still suggest testing it in an inconspicuous corner someplace first.

A:  I wouldn't use it on colored grout- it is a product that whitens and brightens!

A:  Hello - Thank you for your question. It is not necessary to clean your floors before the application. For best results, spray the product generously over the surface and spread evenly with a dry microfiber applicator and allow it to dry completely. A:  Yes, you need to mop the floor prior to using the prod.

A:  I have 3 cats and use it exclusively as my go-to cleaner for those areas of the floor that require extra work. I use it on varigated taupe/light terra cotta color porcelain floor tile throughout the house. You are supposed to use it by spraying it on the messy area and let it dry (like overnight), then reactivated it by utilizing a normal floor clean up method (like with a mop and bucket of warm water and a little floor cleaner.) Please reread directions on label as they may have changed. I sometimes use water and vinegar or dissolve some Borax into the warm water instead. My cats don’t bother with it but you cloud always teat it out first by spraying some on a dinner plate and let it sit there and see if the pets try to lick it. I doubt they would, as I’m sure they can tell by the smell it’s not food. : )

A:  The year's worth of accumulated soap scum wiped away with one pass, definitely recommend.
