A: I use it on “sand” colored grout with good results. However, you should try a small amount on an inconspicuous portion of your grout to answer your own question for sure.

Q:It's my basement so no worries about kids or animals entering the area

A: I’d try an area 2ft square. If it helped, I’d do the rest. I would for sure have an exhaust fan on, windows open and I’d be using a 3m brand (from Amazon) mask with two filters. You don’t want the enzymes in your lungs. Bleach water would probably be the next choice and I’d certainly use the same precautions.
Also mixing bleach and ammonia will kill you and anyone nearby in a very few minutes. Obviously, don’t use this combo of cleaners.

A: Roughness of your concrete surface might determine effectiveness unless you will power-wash.

Q:After cleanring the grout, should I reseal it?

Answer This Question
A: If you’re cleaning bathroom tile it would be a good choice to seal the grout.
by|May 5, 2023
A: I think you would only have to re-seal the grout if you removed the seal in the first place. If it was properly sealed to begin with, it should hold up to cleaning with this product.
The kitchen and bathrooms were already tiled when we moved in, and I’ve used this product many times and have had no reason to believe the grout needed to be re-sealed.

A: I used Rejuvenate Bio-Enzymatic Tile and Grout Cleaner on a tan grout that looked dark brown or almost black. It made my grout look like it did when it was new. A FANTASTIC PRODUCT!

Q:will this clean dark brown grout - and keep it dark brown?

Answer This Question
A: If your dark brown grout has become black from dirt, then it will make it brown again. It restores the original grout.

A: I believe that it will! I have brown grout. My grout is not dark brown however, the product does remove dirt and grime and over time your grout will look more and more like it did when you first installed it.
Good luck to you - This is truly a great product.
