A: Pets such as cats and dogs should be removed from the area before applying Scotts GrubEx1 Season Long Grub. Reentry may be achieved once the product has been watered in and the lawn has been given time to dry.

A: it's been my experience that the early you apply Grub X the better. regarding hosta leaf damage I've never applied grub X to the Hosta, but i use slug control and got great results! good luck

A: Scotts GrubEx1 is not registered for use in flower gardens or around ornamentals, for lawn use only. GrubEx Should be applied prior to Memorial Day to make sure the active is washed into the soil prior to grubs hatching. Holes in hosta leaves are most often caused by slugs not grubs.

A: As long as your well, or the open body of water, is not subject to surface water run off, a health hazard in itself, there should really be no concern about using Scotts GrubEx on your lawn. They do not have a chance to leach into the soil to any depth, perhaps a few inches. Keep this product application 25 feet from open wells or bodies of water.

A: Scotts GrubEx Season Long Grub Killer Does not control large adults grubs. For the very best results GrubEx1 in controlling most grubs it needs to be applied between April and July before eggs are laid.

A: The current active ingredient in Scotts GrubEx Season Long Grub Control is not taken up by the grass or weeds in the lawn but stays in the soil and is consumed by the grubs as the eat the roots. Since it stays in the soil and is not taken up by any grass or weeds growing in the soil it cannot affect bees or wasps.
