A:  There is no battery in the base. It is built into the vacuum and you recharge the whole thing.

A:  I had a shark for years that plugged into the wall outlet. This charger on the navigator plugs into the wall

A:  You just disassemble the canister and emptie from a button and releases dirt from the bottom of the tube right into the garbage can.

A:  I can take it apart with no problems, plus I wash every part of it, even the foam filter.

A:  The roller works well and collects our dogs hair, but we get it off when we empty it.

A:  I have not accessed the roller. It sort of sits flat and allows for great suction.

A:  110 voltage charges a 20 volt battery.

A:  Not enough to provide good suction.

A:  I have used mine for at least 30-40 minutes. I get the whole house done on one charge.
