Answer This Question

I believe that they can be ordered any thickness. The ones we got are roughly 1 3/4 inches which we placed under our coffee table to raise it enough for the Roomba to go under it. Before it was to low and would get stuck. Great little idea.

    Answer This Question

I have two chairs that are just a little bit low for the dining room table. The chair legs are 1" square which means 1-1/2" corner to corner (diagonally). Will these risers fit? Also what keeps them in place if you lift a chair to move it on carpet?

    Answer This Question

Yes, these risers should fit your chair legs. The product description states that each riser features "a specially designed recessed holder top which holds all types of furniture legs". Since it doesn't specify shape or exact dimensions of the legs it accommodates, and your chair legs are 1" square (1-1/2" diagonally), it is reasonable to assume these risers would work. As for keeping the risers in place on carpet, the product description mentions a "removable rubber o-ring on the bottom of each riser [that] protects floor surfaces from damage and provides a non-slip grip". This rubber o-ring should help to grip the carpet and keep the risers from moving when you lift the chair. However, the description also notes that the risers are "Not recommended for use on high-pile carpet." If your carpet is high-pile, these may not be the best solution.

Would these be good to use on outdoor lanai furniture where some of the legs are shorter than others? Lanai flooring is brick. Thank you.

      Answer This Question

While the product description mentions they are safe for all floor surfaces and have a non-slip grip, they are intended for indoor use. Using them outdoors, especially on an uneven brick surface, might not provide the stability you're looking for and could potentially damage the risers over time due to exposure to the elements. I would recommend looking for risers specifically designed for outdoor use.

I wouldnt suggest that. These arent that tall, you would half to stack several on top of each other. Sorry. I just cant see that working. I would try a brick.

Can these be used for any type/length of furniture leg? The description says "Each riser features a specially designed recessed holder top which holds all types of furniture legs that are at a foot..." What does "Legs that are at a foot" mean? I want to use these on legs that are about 7 inches.
