    A:  I would imagine it would not be helpful for a child to eat any worm but this one will cause a bit of trouble for children and pets so make sure you use it correctly. Read all the directions and act accordingly. It doesn't kill plans or grass because you are putting the worm in an active tunnel out usually under the dirt. The mole or vole may damage plants and certainly bores through grass.
