A:  No, this is made out of aluminum and isn't meant to be bent.

A:  No tack strip needed. The carpet trim will cover the edge of the carpet and protect it and keep it in place.

A:  This is meant to transitions floors of uneven heights so if your floors are set up like that then yes it will work. It is installed with included fasteners, and if you install into a concrete floor then you will need wood pegs to install into the concrete for the fasteners to be hammered down in to.

A:  Hi. This strip is beveled. In other words, it’s meant to join two different levels. So, if your floors differ in height this will work. Other strips are available that will sit flat. Some have a rib underneath that sits between the different flooring to help secure the strip in place. If the gap between the flooring is small enough a colored silicone could be used instead.
