A: Sorry, it does not appear that the manufacturer has replacement parts for this product. For additional information please contact the manufacturer's customer service department at 1.800.393.1846.
A: I would try contacting the vendor.
A: Found this on Home Depot’s website: https://www.homedepot.com/p/True-Temper-20-in-Aluminum-Combo-Blade-Snow-Shovel-1613400/205469815 Hope it’s what you’re looking for.
A: The one I received had the aluminum painted shaft. I had the old version of this and this one is built to last for sure!
A: Don't really know; these type items tend to change each season. Best thing to do is go visit a store and see; always several good selections.
A: I am 5' 8" and I have to bend to use it so it should be okay for you.
A: I am a bit less then 5" and the shovel works fine for me.
A: I am also 5' 1" and I have no problems using this shovel.
A: I think you will notice the curve in the shaft will accommodate your size, in fact being smaller is even better because you won’t have to bend your back at all Sharon!!
A: Yes , it would safe on the pavers , but with all the edges of the pavers , the shovel edge will probable wear out quicker than on concrete .
A: Yes, but depends upon condition of your pavers, whether they're level and not loose.
A: Yes, have had mine for year now and is still good.
A: We have used this in Very Heavy, Deep Snow. We have Cedar Wood porch and carport and Composite Wood deck. We are careful not to shovel down too deep so as not to scrape the woods - especially the Composite. We have no experience w pavers. It is the Best shovel we have ever owned. And we have had many.
A: The nylon leading edge of the scoop won’t gouge your deck or catch on your brick patio. I have used this shovel for years and no problems. If one could go as far as loving a shovel, this would be the one.
A: I don’t believe so. However the handles are very sturdy and I have not had any problem with them.
A: Not that I'm aware of. I've used my shovel over numerous Winters with no discernable wear.
A: I don’t know. But we have used this excellent shovel for several years up in the mountains with heavy snowfall and haven’t noticed any problems with the strip.
A: I don’t know if the strip is replaceable or not. Mine is still good. But I know I love this shovel, even bought one for my son. ❤️
A: No, the shovel is plastic. The one I bought only lasted through a couple of snows before breaking where the handle attaches. I loved the handle but would not personally buy this one again due to its disposable nature.
A: As you can see, the handle and shovel are plastic, but the handle bar is metal. They do have a straight blade (not scoop) that is metal as well as the handle bar if you prefer. I have them both.
A: Scoop is plastic. I’ve used it for 2+ years with no issue.
A: The blade and yellow handle at the end are plastic, the gray shaft is steel. We’ve had one for several years and it’s been very durable. The only wear is right along the front edge, but that’s probably because I’ve used it to break up ice on the sidewalk.
A: Plastic with metal shaft, however it is well design, there is no screw to break around, has worked very well for us the past couple of years

A: Snow shovels with an ergonomic handle like this one help to reduce lower back pain and strain when shoveling all types of snow including heavy wet snow. The ergonomic handle allows you to position the blade of the shovel nearly parallel to the ground for shoveling or pushing snow without having to bend your back as much in comparison to when using a snow shovel with a straight handle. The ergonomic handle allows you to use more proper body mechanics to get adequate leverage for shoveling snow to reduce the risk of straining your lower back by allowing you to use your arms and shoulders to lift snow and your arms, shoulders and hips to throw snow instead of relying on your lower back as much. I was skeptical initially of the benefit of using snow shovels with ergonomic handles, but after using snow shovels with ergonomic handles for many years find that using snow shovels with ergonomic handles causes far less lower back pain and strain in comparison to using a straight handle snow shovel. Please, always take precautions when shoveling heavy wet snow especially the deep heavy snow that is often left at ends of driveways after a snow plow has cleared a road or street to avoid the risk of overexertion and other health issues including a possible heart attack. Heavy deep snow needs to be removed in smaller amounts per shovelful versus attempting to remove too much snow at a time in each shovelful to avoid possible health issues based on your overall health.
A: Due to the ergonomic design, the shower work with with heavy, wet snow.
A: No pain or Soreness after shoveling
A: This is great because there is less being hunched over with the curve. That curve is what makes this a great product. Not to mention this brand is heavy duty. Worth every cent. You get this one and they have one that’s wider and more shallow for cleaning up and good for like plowing. I have both.very happy with both!!
A: Wet and heavy snow is never easy on your back.
A: It's pretty good on its own, but you can also add an ergonomic handle - like the Trentco ProHandle, to make it even easier on your back if you want.
A: Less stress on the back compared to regular shovel
A: What's the proper way to use this shovel cause my lower back hurt after using?
A: When the snow is heavy and wet, I normally just push the snow to the area I want to leave it. I have picked up heavy snow with this, and the shovel does well. When I have picked up heavy snow, the shovel part hasn't cracked or bend. I push the snow to protect my back.
A: What is the right way to use this shovel cause my back hurts after using?
A: This shovel is the 1603400. Note the model # in the upper left-hand corner of this product page.
A: It appears to be the same item number as the two shovels I bought last January. I love this shovel. It survived last year’s extended winter and is still going strong this season. The handle allows me to get a better angle without bending over as much. My back thanks the manufacturer.
A: I looked up the number and yes it is the same snow shovel.
A: Yes it is.
