Q:Hi, I desperately need the white paint that matches these Shiplap boards but I don’t see any info with the product sheets. Please advise. BTW, why do we have to paint and seal this Shiplap is it’s already been painted? Ikm very confused by the product.

A:  Because this is a pre-finished product, you will not need to paint or seal the product. There will be a color match touchup paint available within the next several weeks. If you need the paint sooner, we suggest taking a sample piece to your Home Depot Store for a color match paint option. Because this product goes through a proprietary color formulation process, a color code is not available for the color match paint.

    A:  Ford, This product is primed and ready for the paint color of your choice. The primer is white, but it's suggested to apply a paint color to this. We do offer white as a color option in this product line.

          A:  Arthur, for optimal results, we recommend painting the boards then once the paint is fully dry you can seal the boards with a clear sealant. Using a colored infused sealant can also be beneficial.

            Q:How do you hide the fasteners on the top row of a horizontal orientation since there will be no row above it covering? Also, if you can’t, what are you supposed to do to patch the holes and match the color of prepainted boards since paint is proprietary?

              A:  SDD35, prior to installation, it is recommended to let the wood acclimate for a few days in the room where it will be installed. Differences in temperature and moisture levels between the storage and application areas can impact the final appearance negatively.
