A:  yes just put the compressor side down (on its back or on the heavy side down) Then when you get home unpack it. Let it rest about 20 mins, before plugging it in. this will allow any compressor oil to run back down to the bottom of the system.

A:  No. Mine does not have wheels. It slides quite easily though, if that helps. I have it n a garage on a concrete floor so I don’t worry about scratching.
