Questions and Answers for Veranda 36 in. x 80 in. Solid Core Louver Pine White Wood Interior Closet Bi-fold Door

A:  I don't these doors will work because of the height of the closet door opening. You could bring the height of the closet doors down to 80" by nailing a 1" to 1 1/4" board to the top of the closet opening, however.

A:  Yes, you would have some space below the doors since this was made for an 80" opening, but as long as you opening is at least 35 11/16" wide then you should be ok

A:  No our bifolds are meant for 80 inch openings. You would have 1.5 inches of gap on the top and bottom of the door opening.

A:  Yes but it will be tight. Our actual width of our 36" bifold is 35 11/16"

A:  I had to trim 1/8 from each panel at the joining side.

A:  The pine we use is Taeda Pine or Loblolly Pine. This is a species of Southern Pine

A:  For our bifolds, we only recommend trimming up to 1" off the bottom. Any more than that will void the factory warranty.

A:  Our classic louver bifolds have slats that are 32mm or 1.259 inches

The opening required for the bifold track and hardware is 80 11/16" The opening required if the track is already in place is 80" and the actual height of the bifold itself is 78 3/4"
