      Answer This Question

A:  FenceDesign, Our vinyl pre-routed posts are specific to the panels. We offer end, corner and line posts. By modifying would be going beyond the installation instructions and may void the warranty.

          Answer This Question

A:  Yes, in most circumstances you would be able to replace just the damaged panel, but depending on the position of the panel, and stability of the post, you may have issues getting the bottom rail into the posts. We do offer rail clips to be used in circumstances where the railing needs to be trimmed to fit the area.

                      Answer This Question

A:  Ann, Unfortunately, we cannot speak to the compatibility of another manufacturer's product with ours as we have not tested the two together. We suggest that you go into your preferred Home Depot store, perhaps with some measurements of your current fence and some pictures of it, too. You should be able to determine what will work or won't with some assistance from a PRO associate. Best of luck to you.

                        Answer This Question

A:  Ed, It is a bit of a challenge to find what parts work together on the various fences that Home Depot offers. For future reference, there is either a View This Collection/4 little boxes icon just above the product that you are considering to click on, or there is an orange greater than (>) sign above the product to click on, also. Sometimes there are both. Here is a link to all of the items and accessories for the Dover line: https://www.homedepot.com/collection/Lumber-Composites/Dover-Fencing-System/Family-306303122?omsid=203179274. As a back-up, here are some reference numbers in case you have issues with the link: Internet #203179279, Model # 141397, Store SKU #254576. Those are for the routed line post. There are, also, end posts and corner posts, depending on the project that you have in mind. Best of luck to you.

Q:How big are the slots for the top and bottom rails? I bought the "6 ft. H x 8 ft. W White Vinyl Linden Pro Privacy Fence Panel Kit" but the line posts I purchased (5 in. x 5 in. x 9 ft. White Vinyl Routed Fence Line Post) didn't fit because the slots for the top and bottom rails were too small. So how big are the slots for the top and bottom rails?

A:  I have the same issue. Except that mine is re-posting several Linden Privacy Fence panels in the middle of an existing fence. After learning from Home Depot that that type of fence was discontinued and no replacement parts are available, and after finding that the closest posts for those panels are the 5"x5" x 9 ft White Vinyl Routed Fence Posts, I find myself considering to cut the slots of these posts to match the old posts. Any suggestions?

                              A:  FilmGuy, The slots are 1-9/16" x 7-1/8".
