A:  Not really.  You will have be unscrewing.  I simply topple the whole thing over to get excess charcoal out and if anything is remaining.  It can be easily cleaned without removing.

A:  No! It is NOT okay. Do not EVER put any lit grill on any wood surface while using!! Omg. I cannot believe this question was even asked.

A:  Hi! We appreciate your interest. We would not recommend a wooden table. The surface has to be non flammable. Thank you!

A:  NO. It WILL burn the wood directly under the center. BUT, you can lay a couple of layers of cement board under it to prevent that (use 1/2" DUROCK, not thinner wonderboard or hardiebacker). I cut two squares for insulation, about 24" x 24" each and I also include a plywood layer under that. This will protect the wood effectively.

A:  Not sure what the gauge steel is on this kettle, but I can tell you that it is made from 304 stainless steel which withstands corrosion and higher heat then your typical grade of stainless steel used.

A:  Yes, you can cook Tandoori chicken on this grill, although technically Tandoori chicken is supposed to be cooked in a Tandoor. The process of marinating in yogart and spices and then grilling to impart smoke flavor can be done on this grill, especially if you move to skewers. The smoke exits through the wheel vents on the lid of the grill. You can open the vents to create more air flow resulting in faster cooking, or you can close the vents to lower the temperature and impart more smoke onto the food. Do not over load this grill though, you will cut down on the air flow to much which will make it to hard to get the sear seen on flavorful tandoori chicken.

A:  It has vents on the top if that's what you mean. You can open or close them with tongs or a potholder.

A:  Yes, you can cook chicken in this product. There are adjustable air vents built into the lid of this cooker. Smoke may be exhausted through these vents.
