Q:Do you need to install a wall switch in addition to remote or just power to the fan?

Answer This Question
A: No wall switch needed. Just use the remote to operate. There is a handy holder for the remote though if you want to mount that on the wall.

A: The electrical box where the fan is installed is should be connected to a light switch and the light switch is then left in the on position, and you use the remote control to operate the fan. You should contact a local electrician in your area for your local building codes in regard to the wiring needed for your area/home.

Q:Can this flush mounted fan be converted to installation with a down rod?
by|Feb 3, 2019

Answer This Question
A: Not really.
Flush mount fans are designed to be flush mounted.
There isn't any place to attach a down rod.
I would suggest finding a similar fan that is designed to be hung with a down rod.

A: No, this flush mount fan cannot be converted to a down rod ceiling fan.

A: This ceiling fan is a flush mounted fan, and therefore the remote receiver would not fit properly in this fan to be able to use a remote/ wall control for dimming of the fan.
