Q:Does e5 keep a record how long it worked? For example, if I leave my house while e5 cleans a living room, and when I return in a hour and find e5 sitting in the middle of room doing nothing (while its battery still charged), does it mean e5 completed the cleaning ( for how much time?) or it was stopped by something else (a small bump or carpet's thread)? Could I find either in the e5 internal records or in a phone's app how long this unit worked before it stopped itself or stopped by an obstacle?

A:  I could not get mine to connect to WiFi network. Kept saying that it was connecting and it never did. However, the main issue is that the unit only worked after two cleanings then it died. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED.

A:  Dear Customer All our connected robots are suppose to work with WiFi connected thru home. If you do not have a smart phone then you can enjoy the app which is how you remotely can activate your robot in your house while not there. Now the app can be also install in a tablet. So, WiFi is only if you want to connect remotely to your robot. Hope this helps and be safe, iRobot

A:  Dear Consumer Unfortunately it will not work as you need to have constant wifi connection so you can activate from any where. If you activate using cell phone will only work while you are at home and will have to reconnect the robot every time you leave and come back plus will not have remote access. Thx iRobot

A:  I was told at Home Depot that the Roomba E5 model does not come with a virtual wall. That is sold separately. The only accessory it come with is a filter.

A:  It worked with mine, eventually. I have a Note 8. I had to "forget" my home wifi network and set it to not auto reconnect. Took more than 10 tries and about 90 mins to finally get it to fully load and configure on my phone.
