A: I did not try but I don't think it will be a goof material for high heat area. It is very similar material to high quality vinyl floor.

A: Hello, thank you for your question. They can be installed on a surface whose temperature does not exceed 49 °C (120 °F). Above all, it is important to avoid any direct contact with a heat source or direct exposure to an open flame. We also do not recommend installing a on the fireplace hearth. Our tiles would easily get damaged if used on the hearth due to walking, placing items on them or possible sparks or embers falling if the protective screen was removed. Doing so will damage the tiles and void the warranty.

Q:Can I mount shelves by drilling holes, once they’re installed? Or would you recommend mounting tape?

Answer This Question
A: You can screw through the tile but it is advisable to wait until the tile had completely bonded to the surface. Also, do not screw too tighlty to prevent a risk of warpping. Keep in mind , if you do drill or use nails, it will permenantly damage the tile and the warranty will probably no longer apply.
by|Jun 18, 2021
A: As these are self adhesive tiles, I recommend drilling as otherwise the shelf would be only help by two lots of self adhesive
by|Jun 17, 2021
A: Hello Rosa, you may drill holes or use mounting tape however, this would damage the tile and void all warranty.

Q:Can this product be used over old tiles?
by|Feb 27, 2021

Answer This Question
A: You can put them on depending on the state of the ‘old’ tiles
They need to be clean, dry, and offer a firm base for the new tile.
by|Feb 27, 2021
A: Sure. Depending on the size and application of the old tiles, you might want to 'level-off' with a quick job of grout or not. I'm not even sure it's necessary - that would depend on their width of grout line and whether the new tile joints will fall very much on those old ones.

A: Hello, you may install our peel and stick Smart Tiles directly over an existing backsplash such as ceramic or glass, as long as the tiles have been properly cleaned with a degreaser. Please ensure that the existing surface is sleek and smooth without any texture in order for our Smart Tiles to adhere properly.
Also, you must take into account the width and depth of the existing grout lines as this might affect the outcome.

A: Hello Nick,
I do not think that you need any extra adhesive. The adhesive that is on the back of the tiles are enough. I installed them in my bathroom over 7 months ago and have not had any problems. I hope that this was helpful!

Q:Can these be used on a tub surround or shower wall?
by|Dec 2, 2020

Answer This Question
A: Hello Maddie, thank you for your question. Our peel and stick tiles are resistant to moisture and humidity however they were not designed to be used on shower walls. Direct contact with water over a prolonged period of time may affect the adherence of the product.
For the shower area, you may place them at a height were they will not be in contact with the shower flow. For the bathtub, they may be installed around however make sure that the area has been properly cleaned with a degreaser, thoroughly dried and wait at least 48 hours before using the bathtub to ensure the tile has a chance to properly adhere to the surface.

A: I did use it over shower
by|Jan 19, 2021
A: I'm tempted to say yes, but I don't think I'd actually do it myself. The adhesive on these tiles is really super, but there are so many joints where the sheets come together that it might become a mildew nightmare.
A better choice might be ceramic 'subway tiles' that are in the same department. More work, but well worth the effort. Although many are frightened off by the idea, with a little bravery and some careful execution, its a better choice and within most DIY skill sets.

A: Each tile, in relief on the sheet is a 2” by 6” impression, to use just
One brick you would have to cut out from the original sheets, so could
alter the size bit by bit.

A: These are not an oblong shape, 3” by 6” you could trim the tile to, but it is an ‘H’ shaped tile
