This is perfect for our application (trim in the bath and bedroom). Love that you can use a pencil to "fill in" any perfections caused by cutting a board.

We had Silver City Ghostwood placed as exterior siding and within one year, had excessive sap leakage on over 50% of the siding that was sun exposed. The siding had to be completely replaced and the product manufacturer failed to accept responsibility and stated they had done nothing wrong. They were willing to replace boards at cost, but how could anyone have confidence that it wouldn't happen again. The lack of professionalism and integrity by the manufacturer is disturbing and I suspect they care little about the individual buyers, only the big institutional buyers.

Excellent product for creating accent walls or updating that rustic look

This siding is amazing. My carpenter and I were both impressed with being able to get good boards -9 out 10 boards are useable, they are dry, they cut well and they look great and you don't have to do anything once they are up. The customer service dept in Montana were very helpful with answering questions and the webpage has good information in how best to work with Ghost Wood. We also used the 4" trim. Bravo and it is eco friendly as well.
