Thx shims were fine. No need to get excited, shims are pretty generic. They worked as I thought they would - easy to snap after putting them in place.

I have used these for a ton of indoor projects and they work great. The pack comes in all sorts of varying thicknesses. Relatively easy to snap off and sometimes I use a chisel to remove excess. They take nails and screws well too.
