I planted many gardenia and they died over winter. Since this one said frost proof, I decided to try one more time. Glad I did!! They came packaged extremely well!! They were a good size and much to my surprise not only did they almost double in size but they made it through the winter with ease!!! I will definitely buy my next plants online at home depot

I ordered this plant on line and wasn't quite sure what to expect so I didn't let myself get to excited and geared myself up for the worse. I got the plant today and when I opened the box I was amazed at how big and beautiful it was. Far exceeded any expectations. I highly recommend this grower and Home Depot as the plant is healthy and so much bigger than I imagined. Buy it!! It is suppose to do very well in my zone, southern Arizona.

We purchased spring of 2021, we live zone 8 coastal North Carolina summer of 2021 shrub was beautiful, thru winter we had unusually cold weather. The Frostproof Gardenia did not hold up to it's name. All 3 Gardenias purchased did not make it to spring of 2022. We are returning back to store due to Home Depot's 1 year return policy.

Their already molding and unhealthy i need a refund

I just unpacked my gardenia and am blown away with how beautiful and perfect it is. It was packed so well it took me awhile to get it out of the box and the delivery driver laid it on its side on my porch and it didn't hurt it a tiny bit. This is a wonderful plant and I am going to try it in my Zone 6B garden with winter protection. This plant has a perfect shape, it has 1 flower and several buds. I will definitely order more plants from this vendor.

This beautiful plant has specific requirements for keeping alive. This is my third gardenia I am trying. It is very hard to keep alive up north, I highly recommend doing a little research on the care before purchasing. Below is a picture of it right out of the box.

I’m a green thumb lover and reserached Gardenia care-thought it would would be fun to nuture one Indoors for future blooming..Based on previous reviews I had to chime in and echo that the plant recieved was a STRUGGLE and a few month later is worse than pictured. Disappointing.

As it is cold here I watched for the delivery and brought it in right away. Put it in an area where it gets good light, etc. as it was a bit wilted looking. Right now, all the leaves are dry and dead looking. There is still some 'give' in the branches but I am not sure the plant will make it. I think I should get either a refund or preferably a replacement.

Here is what you actually get. It's quite a bit different than what they advertise.

Received a beautiful trimmed Gardenia plant and looks healthy, green leaves and no fungus. Well packaged and am not disappointed on the plant quality.

The plant arrived ahead of schedule. The packaging was excellent, with the shrub's pot protected by a plastic bag, closed to minimize any soil loss during transit. On receipt, I immediately unpacked it, planted it in a clay 12 in thick-walled square pot with Scotts potting soil. I used my fingers to gently separate the roots to encourage it to spread. After watering it in thoroughly, it is now in a sunny spot on my back patio. I have been watering it consistently and, fingers crossed that it continues on this path, it seems to be enjoying its new home. I am so thrilled, and hope to purchase more items from this nursery and from Home Depot in the future.

Came as a stick with a few leaves!!! In a gallon pot. I dont think this is worth the money i spent. Tjis should be at least a 12” or 2’ plant.
