Did not grow
Only 20 seeds out of the entire bag germinated and even those never grew taller than 1/2 inch. The 20 seeds were in a raised planter and the thousands of other seeds were scattered over an area outside about 40 square feet and not one seed has germinated no matter what I do.

Wild flower seeds
The seed seens not to come up much even I put almost the whole bag in a small area. I wonder how many seeds are really in the 2 pound bag. Very disappointed.

Hello, Earth Science wildflower mixes should be applied so the area is mostly covered, but bare ground is still visible. A more dense application will result in a more dense flower display.

Once the seeds become established, they produce a vigorous profusion of flowers. Constant blooms until the first frost in fall. Great for filling in blank or sparse areas.

Was hard to see actual seeds in the mix (could not make difference where are sees and where soil conditioners). So, planted by areas just spreading the mix evenly. It was ~two weeks ago - result look great - sprouts are here and there. Great product!

Hi there, the approximate germination times and time to full bloom can be found on our website. For the Butterfly and Hummingbird Wildflower Mix the approximate time to full bloom can start anywhere from 5 to 8 weeks. They may just need a bit more time.

Earth Science Wildflower Mixes are a combination of wildflower seed and fertilizer in one pouch. The fertilizer pellets are larger than the seeds so the seeds may be difficult to see. The fertilizer is a composted dairy manure granule that may become dusty. This may also make it difficult to see the seeds.
