Offers flexibility/adjustability in head/face fit; easy breathing (not sucking rubber), provided good seal-could smell no vapors while staining/painting. Highly recommend for high VOC paints/stains/poly,etc

This respirator forms a tight seal and is lightweight. It definitely filters out fine granite and wood dust particles. The seal and filters are so good that you will need to slightly force your breathing, but that is what you want for good protection.

The mask tends to slip down the straps which makes it heavy on the nose .It does seal well until it slips down.

It is easy to breathe using the respirator even when wearing glasses.

The product won't stay up on my face. Slides down - very annoying. Needs a better hold in place feature.

As all 3M resperators i have used the function is very good. This mask however has a new style strap thats appsolutley aggravating. The strap free floats tgrough the mask so the top and bottom are always changing lengths until you dawn the mask and have to find the center, every single time you out it on. you can no longer let it dangle in front of you from bottom strap and quick pull it on. I really hope they ditch the new design and go back to the old style that was perfect.

Absolutely essential for many types of shop work. I use it when sanding, grinding, and sawing, whenever fine particles are likely to be in the air. Also great for staining, to keep the nasty fumes at bay. Filters are easy to swap out. You can't beat this respirator for the price.

The respirator itself is good it’s size large. This was the only large respirator in the store it seemed. I searched every box all medium everywhere. Many boxes of respirators were left empty and the shelves were a mess. I was in a hurry and took 5x longer than it should. I givethe store negative 3

Never work without it. Save your lungs. The drop down is great when I have to answer to my wife or kids while working.

Love the mask easy to put on and you do not feel pressure by the nose

Grate job in cleaning the air you are breathing. When working in a closed environment like an RV, it is essential. Eliminates vapors from paint and solvents.

It was so hot the contractors couldn’t breath with it on so they ended up not using it.

I've used a few different brands of these, and this is the least comfortable, and most frustrating one yet. If I hadn't thrown away the packaging, this one would be going back for a different style. I decided to get a new 3M mask last weekend, because obtaining filters for my MSA mask is a pain. Since HD carries 3M, I figured I would make the switch and be able to buy my filters locally. This was the only style in stock in a large, so I grabbed one. The problem lies in the strap design. The straps from the plastic head strap run through the mask, crisscross inside the front of the mask and become the neck straps. So every time you take it off, the mask moves in relation to the headpiece and neck strap, and is completely out of adjustment again. So every time you put it on, you start over trying to get it situated correctly. This "drop down feature" is touted as a good thing, but I was about ready to throw it across the room. Like I said, If I hadn't already thrown away the packaging, it would be going back,
