Confused on the different tapes and which one to use for what. This tape for "delicate surfaces" did not give me the smooth lines I expected.

If you are an artist that uses paint of any kind this Edge-Lock Scotch blue tape is a must. It's a must for water color painting. But on glass, craft or cathedal painting is made easier when making pure lines. Ofcourse for painting wall murals it's indespensable. Save yourself hours of extra work. It's a must in every artist studio.

Works for purpose intended.... use it for marking off paint lines and trim lines of doors and window, ceilings and floors.... Nice crisp line when you're done. This delicate one does not lift paint as long as the paint has had time to dry. Don't put it on "almost dry" paint and expect it to avoid pulling up paint. Naturally, the cost of this product is stratospheric.

This tape removes cleanly without adhesive transfer or surface damage for up to 60 days, even in direct sunlight. It is a low-medium adhesion tape that is ideal for smooth, freshly painted surfaces, faux painting, wood floors and glass.

I still had issues with this pulling freshly dried paint.

I regret not reading reviews about this tape before using. I spent a lot of time prepping and painting my walls and waiting a few days to let the walls dry. I used this tape to cut in the ceiling to get a nice clean line. When removing the tape, it peeled the paint underneath it. What a mess and ruined an otherwise perfect job. DO NOT USE THIS TAPE! There’s nothing delicate about it!

very good for delicate surfaces like painted walls

This the best tape to use if you need to tape over recently painted surfaces such as walls or trim. It goes on easy and comes off easy without taking paint with it. The edges are sharp and if attached security to the surface no paint will bleed under the tape onto the protected surface. It's not the only use I have for this tape but i use it mostly for edge protection. I highly recommend.

It's a lovely fat roll of washi tape! You can adjust and restick easily. Edge Lock is minimal, as there is still a very slight feather-like bleed under the edge, but I liked it much better than the regular blue painter's tape and green Frog tape. I will definitely be sticking with this tape.

Took the paint off in some spots.

this soft adhesive sticks great pulls off sharp lines but can be hard getting the roll goin and is a little pricey

Don't expect it to stick well. Still took the finish off some cheap pieces of furnitures.

This tape was bought because it was not suppose to pull the paint up; however. it did take the paint up off the wall that it was stuck to.

Did a great job in covering the area that was being painted.

The delicate surface tape is as advertised. It was used on a freshly painted surface, allowing the neighboring surface to be painted without the fear of messing it up with the different color paint. The paint did not bleed through the tape and was easy to remove without destroying the freshly painted surface.
