The Cat's Meow
I recently purchased a small 84 year old Craftsman house. Great house. But not really big enough to accommodate the cat's litter boxes in a proper, private mannerly way. But the house does have a small basement that was just spot. So I went to the website to check out cat doors for the basement door. And, lo, there was the CATHOLE Pet Door! Perfect. It suits the style of the house, does not have a noisy flap, and is a grooming aid all in one. It lends itself to quick exits when needed, provides an unobtrusive observation post and works great for sneak attacks. And we all get more exercise. We are definitely happy with this product

Junk !
This was the biggest piece of junk . $35. For 2 pieces of plywood and a cheap piece of plastic stiff bristled brush. A 2 year old could probably make. Returned to the store.

It works just fine and was not hard to install....
It works just fine and was not hard to install. IMO for as simplistic as this is, the price is outrageous. I feel that $15 would be fair.

My only gripe with this product would be how loosely...
My only gripe with this product would be how loosely the brush fits. The cat hasn't knocked it off yet, but if and when that happens, I'll probably just put a couple dabs of glue in spots.

cat door
This is not at all what I wanted. It is just 2 pieces of wood you put on the front and back. But I have a hallow door so this wont work for me. I could make a square opening and put molding on it for cheaper.

We installed the cat door in our utility room door....
We installed the cat door in our utility room door. It gives our 12 year old kitty lots of peace and privacy. She can eat and use her litter box without being disturbed by our rambunctious puppy. She also gets groomed as an added bonus, which is quite nice, since she isn't crazy about being brushed often:)

This is a well-made product that's easy to install. You'll need a jigsaw to cut the hole in the door, but a handy template is provided to help you cut the opening to its required size. Easy-to-understand instructions are also provided. This product was well worth the cost.

IT TOOK LONGER TO GET THE TOOLS OUT THEN TO INSTALL BOTH CAT HOLES.
GREAT LOOKING, KEEPS THE DOOR INTEGRITY, AND BOTH CATS USED IT IMMEDIATELY.

Very good product for the price. Required cutting down the sides and routering the sides to match due to a picture frame opening smaller than the width of the frame to fit in our cabinet door. A bit of sanding and detailing required for a stained finish.
