I use the 3 inch pipe and necked it up to 4 in perforated pipe. To 10 ft sections connected together can have a little Bend to them maybe 20 degrees. Whereas 3 inch PVC pipe has almost no Bend whatsoever. This makes it a little easier to work with. The pipes have a male and female end and are designed to slip into each other without glue. However I used glue to ensure that they do not pull up Pull-A-Part. Caution! Do not use PVC connectors. These pipe have their own special elbows 90s, wise, T's, Etc. Regular PVC connectors will not fit. Each 10-foot section was 2 to $3 less expensive than PVC and the connectors seem to be less expensive. Yet they are much stronger than the funny pipe that is black with all the rings on them. This is a much better system.

When connecting a 3 in PVC 90-Degree Hub x Hub Elbow to the pipe, the pipe was undersize and fit very loosely' Tried PVC cement to fill the gap, but the rippled surface of the pipe made it impossible. After the cement dried, the joint leaked like a sieve.
Not recommend if you plan on sealing the pipe.

Good price for the purpose and easy to work with the integrated coupling at one end. Not very flexible, but angled couplings at 22.5, 45 and 90 degrees are available.

Very nice product. Easy to use. Use Wet/Dry PVC glue to stick together. Or any good glue, really.

Good flexible 3" pipe
I'm not using this pipe for its intended purpose. I'm making lighted fishing floats ( I know - you're kidding). But this pipe is really quite good. It is made with a flexible outer layer and an inner layer, I suppose for strength. The ability to bend it would be handy in a regular plumbing use. No need to fit several pieces together to create a contour.

Yep, it's pipe
Well I ordered it and homedepot got it to me before the delivery date. I installed it and it runs water off about 70 feet from my house. Does not appear to leak. So it does what it is supposed to do.

Drainage Adhesive
This should solve most of the leakage problems for using the wrong glue. This will bond polystyrene pipes to styrene joints. Just type in "drainage adhesive" in the home depot search and the product will come up.

Note to all who had issues with glue.
This product is HDPE and they make an adhesive that is formulated for this pipe. You can consult the manufacturer as we have years ago and they recommend a spray on adhesive by 3m(Heavy duty Adhesive), all available in home depot. This is drainage pipe and thus will never be completely leak resistant. But in low flow conditions you don't mind a little water leaking as this pipe is designed to carry gravity flow (Sloped pipe), When used with EzFlow pipe this makes a great way to recharge the ground water under low flow events.
Hope this helps those who have used the incorrect glue, this pipe does not react like PVC sch40 type pipes, the glue becomes the gasket to keep it together and makes the joint strong.

Not meant to be glued
This pipe is light-weight, virtually unbreakable (it will crush with sufficient force), cuts easily, and goes together fast. It seems to be fairly sunlight resistant.
It is not designed to be watertight. It is chemically resistant polyethylene, not PVC, and PVC cement will *not* stick. If you need to reduce the seepage, you might try silicone caulk, but the silicone won't stick well either. Wrap the joints with plastic duct tape (the cloth tape with rubber adhesive will degrade) for additional resistance. Most tapes will degrade in sunlight. If the pipe is vertically oriented, have the bells face up, if they face down, some water will leak out.
If you want watertight, use PVC pipe schedule 40 or DWV. ABS can be cemented as well.
The styrene fittings will degrade in sunlight to the point they will disintegrate after a few years. The PVC fittings are more durable. Painting the styrene fittings with a high-quality exterior paint will extend their life.

Can't get PVC cement to work
I like the price and the quality, but I can't get the pre-attached connectors to accept standard PVC cement. I was able to get the downspout connector to cement, but I am having difficulty getting the 90 degree and T connectors to hold. This has caused a delay in getting the project done and concerns me of possible leaks. Looking for solutions now.

It's Pipe!
There's not a whole lot one can say about a length of pipe but, for my purpose--sump pump discharge line--this works perfectly.

Leaky Pipes...
Used this product in a downspout drain application. I could not get the connections to be leak-free while testing it. It was also easy for connections to move while manipulating the pipe in the trench. The styrene couplings that are sold at the store cannot be glued to this material either...90 degree bends were leaking as well... this may not be a problem if you are installing a french drain
I'm going Schedule 40 PVC...which Home Depot here (NorCal) doesn't carry.
