Tried and true
I've been using this for many, many years and have never been disappointed. Because I can dilute it to the degree I want, I can fertilize when I want and whatever makes the plant happiest. Some do best if I fertilize every 2 weeks at a pretty dilute rate. Others are happier monthly and a few just want to be fertilized every quarter. I've never "burned" a plant using this and it keeps well if I don't use it all during any given year, though I usually go through at least 2 gallons every years.

New avocado leaf flush by fertilizer replaced leaves recently chewed
This fish fertilizer worked well. I applied it to a 3 yr. old avocado. The new spring leaves on almost every branch were all eaten by a chewing insect which I could never spot. I applied this fertilizer in early June and about 3 weeks later the avocado had a new leaf flush with about 4 inches of growth and so far nothing has eaten the leaves.

Hello, the Alaska Liquid Fish Emulsion Fertilizer has a thick consistency. We recommend you shake the bottle a few times as ingredients may separate during storage, before you begin using the product. Thank you. alaska

    Shipping department needs to improve
Shipping department needs to learn how to pack 4 bottles in a box. Open the cardboard into two sections . The center must have two pieces of cardboard. All bottles are dented.

      Miracle fertilizer
This fertilizer is very effective but has deadly smell. I use 1T to 5gal and water on my vegetable garden and boy my eggplant just thrive, my guava tree sprouted new leaves, my dying apple tree come to life. At the beginning you might throw up and have a second thought of dumping it, don't. Wear a mask.

        Good results
I use this on almost all my plants and it seems to give them a noticeable boost in leaf growth and overall health of the plants. One bottle goes a long way as you only use tablespoons at a time mixed with a gallon of water (depending on what and where you’re fertilizing). I appreciate the natural option it provides to feed my vegetables and fruits. Smell is really fishy and pungent though, so beware of that for weaker stomachs..

I have been using Alaska Fish Fertilizer and Morbloom for more than thirty years. These produces are all origantic and are the best of the best and build the soil and do not deplete your soil like Perto Chemicals Fertilizers do. You can't burn you outdoor plants with these fish produces. You flower will have darker deeper colors and the smells are increased by 3X. I use Super Thrive also and get great results!

This is the perfect fertilizer for all plants! I’ve used it for years. You can never burn the plant. Use a 5 gallon bucket, fill it about 3/4 full and just throw a splash of this Alaskan fish emulsion in the water and stirred up. It’s incredibly powerful when you mix in some of the root stimulator.

The Alaska Fish Fertilizer worked good. But, I couldn't get past the VERY strong fish odor, which made it difficult to mix the product and water the plants (hence the rating of four instead of five stars). Even though the product worked good, I would not by the product again due to the strong odor and my sensitive stomach.

I have noticed all around healthier looking plants since using this. Even the leaf coloring is coming in noticeably deeper. In my picture you can see the new bottom leaves are MUCH darker and all that I changed was the fertilizer. It smells terrible but I don’t notice that smell in the garden.

To get the same results I received last year
I have a spectacular garden and Fish Fertilizer helps make it that way. I had a Dahlia and the stem was 1 1/4" thick and it filled a planter box that was 4' x 4' in size and the Dahlia was 3' tall. I can't find the product in a gallon container only in quart size its costing me half of the price more to purchase the same amount.

No green thumb required. I observed a landscaper using Alaska Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1 for the install of my flower garden. I pulled the bottle out of the trash bag for my information. Visited HD online, and yes, my HD carries this in the garden section. Brought it home, mixed per instructions for my 7 foot Mexican Ash tree which hasn't grown much since I planted it 3 years ago. As the old saying goes, "wish I knew then what I know now". Someone recommended that I make three 24" deep holes around the tree so as to pour the mixture deep down into the root system. In went the fertilizer, followed with watering for about 3 weeks, and wow. Two feet of growth. I have no old pictures for reference. It wasn't growing. But in the attached photo, its top used to be in line with the distant tree in the background. In all its 3 years, I have never seen this many budding leaves and bright colors on it. And, they are still coming. Since I got this fish fertilizer, I have applied it to my other plants. What a surprise. It works! In American history, the first pilgrims were taught by the Natives to place fish parts into the ground before planting the seed. Well, well, well. Glad I got this, and I will be telling anyone what I used. And, thanks Home Depot for having this on the shelves.

Fish emulsion still remains one of the best natural fertilizers one can buy. It is a high hit of nitrogen that I mostly use as a spray. I also have poured bucks of it on a soil bed to help enrich it before planting. It stinks (pretty big time) but it is a good food for plants, all kinds, and doesn't burn them. At least, I've never known that to happen. I don't use it excessively, but have sprayed it on my hanging plants on the porch, poured bucketfuls into my growbox (along with other fertilizer) to enrich the soil and sprayed it on shrubs around the house. I know when I have used it because my plants respond. I give a light spray, not a drench. I would not over-use it because it ahs a load of nitrogen. The downside is it does stink pretty bad, and it is very thick and needs a lot of shaking so you can pour it out. I use a capful to one gallon of water. I would recommend it, not as the only fertilizer, but as a good once in a while for existing plants and to get a grow box/bed area ready for planting. It is still pretty affordable compared to others, as a bottle will last a long time and doesn't go bad (maybe just stink a little more).
