[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this mailbox as an upgrade from my old one and let me say it's definitely upgrade. I love its pretty big packages can definitely go in there and be safe. Absolutely love it. It was very easy to put up no problems at all. 100% recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using a small, flimsy mailbox on my curbside for the last five years. It’s great for letters and flat documents yet it doesn’t function well when you want to insert a small package or box. I installed the Cenenennial Black Mailbox which was significantly larger than my existing mailbox. It was very easy to install. I replaced the existing post with a more sturdy and steady footing to prevent it from falling forward/backward. The mailbox turned out very well. It's built and has more metal contents than my previous mailbox making it a lot more competent. After attaching the mailbox to the footing I was very pleased with its functionality and metal structure. I was very pleased with its black enamel finish. It was a perfect finish that didn’t clash with mailboxes belonging to my other neighbors. The magnetic clasp was a bit marginal at best in keeping the mailbox door secure. I would have preferred it to be a lot stronger and/or use another type of clasp that is often used to secure drawers when closed. I would have been more pleased with its quality if the catch was more secure rather than its flimsy design. It should be noted that all mounting hardware had been provided with the product. No need to procure any mounting hardware outside of what is already provided. This is a very good mailbox if your daily incoming mail consists of flat documents and parcels. It is large enough to handle both mail and parcels. I highly recommend this mailbox and give it a 4-STAR Rating.

I like the size of it, as it can hold a larger packages without them being squished. It looks beautiful in the front of our home. Absolutely recommend, because it’s USPS approved, great quality and looks nice!

It is a beautiful pewter colored box. It's a post mount designed comes with instructions to mount. It comes with a Lifetime structural warranty and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. There is a red movable outgoing mail flag on the side that it well made and heavy.

A good mailbox for those that get a lot of mail and small packages through USPS. The door pins use cheap cotter pins. They will rust and fall apart quickly and the door will fall off. Otherwise a solid box.

It was easy, set pole, put on adapter then box,sanded primed it and painted it. Added accessories.

This is twice the size of a regular mailbox. Our mail lady doesn’t like putting packages on our door step so she crams them in our mailbox leaving packages sticking out. So we decided to buy a larger mailbox for ourselves and our two neighbors and couldn’t be happier with this product.

Since buying my house a couple of years ago, we've been using the old, standard size mailbox that the previous owner put in. We order quite a few things online, which sometimes wouldn't fit in that mailbox. Of course, very large packages still won't fit in this one, but it can handle a lot larger packages than the standard one could. I mounted it to a cedar post with a board. Because this mailbox is tall, I was able to fit my cordless drill/driver inside of it when I screwed it to the board. The mailbox is attractive, and closes securely with a magnet at the top of the door. We and our USPS delivery lady are very pleased with this mailbox. I recommend it.

It looks nicer than I expected. Installation was fairly easy on an existing post. I replaced my old mailbox with this one primarily because of its bigger size -- with the pandemic still going on, I needed a mailbox that could fit more and bigger packages.

This mailbox is like humongous compared to any other box on my road within hundreds of miles. Now I do not have it installed yet as I am in the North Country and the ground is frozen solid. However it looks great and I love how nice the door opens and closes and is held shut by magnets. Many country side mail boxes have the door hanging down as most just do not stay shut; My current mail box got damaged by the good old snow plow and I decided to buy the biggest mailbox I could find to hold the many parcels that I get due to my addiction to on line shopping. I checked the cost on this mailbox on several websites and found Home Depot had the best price of all of them and shipping was super fast. I highly recommend this mailbox for those who need a big one and one that seems to be well made and looks great.

This mailbox is one of a kind. We get lots of packages and used to be stuffed in the old mailbox. This one (we call Gigantora) is plenty big and looks great!!!

I read the reviews before I purchased this model and was aware of the various door issues. Mine came equipped with chrome, steel rivets with cotter pins. That should solve the problem of broken rivets, but change it to ripped-out hinge holes. I believe I have a simple solution. I began my installation by performing a bit of metal finishing, to allow the door to close smoothly and squarely, to correctly engage the magnet, which is strong enough, when the door is properly fitted. This is a big chunk of sheet metal and I didn't want it out there flopping and wobbling around. The mounting adapter is for a narrow box and I was concerned it wouldn't be stable. I had a piece of engineered wood scrap that I cut to fit inside the bottom footprint. My existing wood post was still good, so I screwed and construction-glued the wood base to the post and only glue to secure the mailbox to the wood. The mailbox swallowed the concrete block I placed in there for clamping force overnight. While the glue was drying, I installed two rubber bumpers pointing down, screwed and glued to the bottom of the wood mounting base, to catch the shock of the heavy door when dropped or flopped open. Now, the mailman can flick the door down and up again, without ripping the hinges apart and the glued bottom makes the entire structure way more solid. My rubber bumpers were nothing more than half-inch lengths of 3/8 ID HP hose. In summary, this is a fine mailbox. I like the shape and LOVE the capacity. It only needs a bit of metal-work to align the door, as needed, a broad mounting base glued to the floor, for overall rigidity and two rubber bumpers placed under the mounting, to soak up the shock of the falling door.

After installing this mailbox, I got a note from my mail carrier: "Best mailbox ever! XOXOXO from USPS". That sums it up. This box can hold some pretty big packages, meaning that I can get packages privately and relatively securely in my mailbox instead of having them sit on my front porch. Build quality is excellent. Be sure to mount with one of the manufacturer's posts or adapters, as this thing is heavier than most mailboxes.

I really love it. I bought it last week at the store after reading about it. The mailbox is really well made, strong and attractive. The size is perfect for large mailers and small boxes. We mounted it easily on the wooden fence. I am extremely pleased with it.

I absolutely love this mail box.. its huge!! The only bad thing about this is that it does not include any hardware, bolts etc.,,nothing, zero, zilch ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! But i would still buy it

Best mailbox I've ever owned. In addition to the extra large capacity (which our carrier appreciates because it means less trips up the driveway to the front door), this mailbox has a very smooth and solid feel on opening and closing the front lid and raising and lowering the flag (not the usual cheap tinny feel). I mounted it on five 8’x 8”x 8" Gray Concrete Half Blocks with a 4” x 4” pressure treated post inside for extra stability. No fast moving snowplow has been able to defeat it.

Nice heavy duty construction with a very nice paint finish. It was easy to install using 6 large head screws ( not Included). The inside is so large I was able to use my electric drill inside the box to drive the screws. Door opens and closes easily with magnetic catches, unlike my previous mailbox that snapped shut. Got it installed before the rain and snow started 2 weeks ago. No problems with snow or rain getting inside so far. I looked at quite a few models before selecting this one and it met or surpassed all my expectations.

My old mailbox was looking a little tired so when I started looking at new ones, I decided to go with something larger to fit all the Amazon packages and junk mail we receive these days. This mailbox has a more modern look and is wide instead of tall like traditional large mailboxes so it fits our needs perfectly. Quality seems to be very good and I haven't noticed any leaking yet but that can be resolved with a small bead of silicone so don't let that deter you. If you're looking to color match your post, the RAL number is 8019 and is a near perfect match.

Not much to say really. It's a HUGE mailbox, very sturdy and well-built. Only problem is that it's so big it will look silly on a standard size post, and there is nothing out there big enough for it, so I built my own wooden column to mount it.
