I stained my back pool deck and I love it. I first pressure washed, etched with muriatic acid, sprayed off, dried, primed then added two coats of the stain. It seems like way to much to do but you can take your time between each phase.

Does not stick on concrete well
I ordered this product and did everything they recommended, from buying a cleaner for the floor, buying a product to etch the floor, priming the floor, and then staining the floor and it lasted about 2 days before starting to peel. What the heck?! I spent a lot of money on all of these products for it not to work.

Our Solid Color Concrete Stain should provide a durable and protective finish. To fix the peeling, I recommend removing any loose coating and etching the bare concrete if it feels smoother than 150 grit sandpaper. Make sure the floor is clean and dry before spot priming the area. Then, touch up the area and apply a thin coat if needed for uniformity. The colors are too bright, inaccurately displayed
This is my second review. On further consideration, I find the Deep Terra Cotta MUCH brighter than it shows online & in the catalog. It is too bright red, not earth tone. Whoever is responsible for the colors in this line needs to be fired. He or she is wasting people's money and time. The colors are VERY inaccurately represented & , in my experience, do not reflect good visual taste or a discerning eye. If I am still in this house next spring, I may change the color to gray. More $$$. Bad.

Goes on very nicely
Excellent stain 2 coats did the job. Very happy with the quality of the stain. Drys in 2 hours then ready for the second coat. Highly recommend to first use a power washer on the concrete first. Didn’t have to use a primer.

No Good - Too Thin
This stuff was reccomend by a sales rep since they were out of deco. This is juts too thin. It’s like water. And before one their reps get on here, I did prep correct. Started peeling next day.

peeling after 3 months
Followed instructions step by step (new concrete) and within 3 months it was peeling badly.

To fix the issue, I recommend removing the loose coating and etching any bare concrete that feels smoother than 150-grit sandpaper. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before priming the areas with our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer. Then, touch up the stain and apply a thin coat if needed for uniformity. Stain concrete, don't paint it.
I am extremely pleased with results. Easy to apply after doing the proper steps; etch and clean, plus the Behr primer. Appears it will hold up for a long time and stain is the way to go for concrete vs. paint.

SILVER/GRAY
I like the stain and highly recommend. However, some of the colors are not exactly like the color in the book. The silver/gray looks more blue than silver or gray so I had to redo my patio.
I changed the color to Washed Khaki and very happy with my decision.
I can't say if it will last long since I did my patio with both stains within a few weeks but if it only last 6 months I would be ok.

This paint was recommended to me by a good friend who is in the pool maintenance business about 13 or 14 years ago. I used the product on my old cool deck and 8 years later it still looked great. I moved late last year and resorted to this product once again for the pool deck at my current house. 2 coats does the trick, extremely pleased.

This is actually a very nice, high quality concrete stain. HOWEVER. Be very careful in picking the color. I wanted a light gray shade and when I applied it to the concrete it was actually white. Like, VERY WHITE. I had to return it. Otherwise, great stuff. Pictures are of the color I ordered vs the color I got.

Tire tracks on driveway
All the prep work and follow all instructions. After 96 hour, with tires not hot. Put cars back and still had tries marks.I would like a full refund, because product does not work like it use to. Live in Florida.

As it turns out, the stain requires a 14-day dry time before it can experience direct tire traffic. However, you can park on top of corrugated cardboard after a 72-hour dry time. The tire marks can be cleaned with soap and water or a concrete cleaner.

Beware: it is more like a paint, NOT a stain
Wanted a stain for my fountain due to, obviously, water. It looks and applies like paint. If this peels like paint when I fill the fountain (rather than a stain that would not), I am going to be really mad!! I will return the other color "stain" since I don't want to "paint" my driveway and walkway. Photos show before and after.

This stain greatly enhances the appearance of ordinary concrete pavers. I chose the Slate Gray color, which unfortunately isn't as dark a gray as I'd hoped, and is really more the same color as the concrete pavers. However, by staining the pavers it has created a far more uniform color across the patio and will be easier to clean because stains from bird droppings and so forth cannot penetrate the surface. I used the Behr Bonding Primer first, so with just one coat of the colored stain, the coverage was very good. My patio is roughly 12 ft by 12 ft and I used half a 1 gallon can. I'm going to darken the remaining half of the stain with some black paint to achieve the charcoal darker gray I was hoping for.

almost white
We special ordered. Not returnable. We were hoping for a tan that had some brown tint to it. This has no brown at all. Almost a light gray.The stain itself covers well. Disappointed with the tint.
