Product worked as advertised. Used on older deck, prep,prep,and prep! Applied easily. Sprayed first coat, rolled second coat. If you use a sprayer, make sure you properly thin paint. 1/4 cup H2O per gallon. Looks great! Time will be the judge. Would buy again.

We purchased 6 gallons to re-paint our deck last year. We spoke with a paint specialist in the store and they recommended us use this paint. We followed all of their directions cleaned our deck with a cleaner and power washer, then let it dry for multiple days until it was completely dry then painted our deck. Now, after about a year our deck looks terrible looks like we painted it many years ago and needs to be repainted all over again. We followed all directions of your paint specialist and used the paint they recommended I cannot believe how terrible this looks. This was a waste of my time and money using this paint. This is an exterior paint it should have lasted much longer and now Im going to have to buy new paint and re-paint it all over again. I defintely do not have the money to have wasted on this, will not be buying this again and do not recommend anyone using it on a deck.

We used this paint on the basement floor of a house built in 1945. The original floor color was a deep red, which was quite visible after years of wear and tear. The BEHR Porch and Patio Paint did a great job covering the old paint. The basement looks really fresh and clean.

The paint was easy to put on but took 4 coats and still not much shine to it. Don't think I will purchase it again. A lot of work for something that should have only taken two coats. :(

We regret to hear of the negative experience you have had with our product and we would like to help. In reading your review, it sounds like your paint didn’t give you the coverage and sheen you were expecting. Usually, since this is a two coat maximum coating, if you haven’t gotten proper coverage after your second coat, we recommend allowing your coating to cure for at least two weeks before doing a slight scuff sanding, cleaning your surface and recoating. Adding additional coats of the paint will not increase the sheen, as this is a low luster coating. It does not offer the high sheen our Gloss Porch & Patio paint would, for example. Since you’ve already applied four coats of paint, if you’d like to increase your coating’s sheen, we suggest waiting the full four weeks of cure time before sanding down some of the current coating, cleaning and applying another coat of the higher gloss paint. The color was accurately represented, and the paint was easy to apply. Once finished it looked great, However, despite the fact I spent a long time properly preparing the previously painted concrete surface, after just a few days the finish is already showing signs of wear, chipping and pealing in spots. So naturally I am a bit disappointed, and I am typically a fan of Behr products. The idea of doing this all over again in a short period of time has be feeling pretty let down.

Perfect For Concrete Basement Floor Paint
I live in NJ and cold climate, we just bought house which is fairly 8 to 10 years old with concrete floor basement. We painted floor with this paint and came out really good.
First used #880 primer and then paint with roller and apply 2 coats on floor. It took about 2 to 3 days for complete drying after second coat. It has really good coverage but totally depend on how rought is your concrete surface. Mine is pretty smooth concrete surface. O have 900 Sq, ft basemnet and It took 1 gallon for primer (1 coat) and 3 gallon paint (2 coat).

Paint is A+ but it has a blueish hue
the product itself is amazing. went on easy. dried fast and looks great. very durable.
my only complaint is that the paint doesn't match the sample provided in the Behr brochure. this is not a slate grey. this has a blueish hue to it. I was very disappointed with the color. I thought it would be a darker grey like that of a real piece of slate.

Unfortunately my porch results were not good in the end
I hired a painter to paint my wood porch. It looked great after it was done. It was 63 degrees as a high on the day he painted it and it was dry for days before and after. After the first big rain - weeks later, my paint is coming off - scuffing off the porch when it is walked on and it is wet - or the rockers rock on it. doesn't have to be anything sharp at all. it is like it reabsorbed the rain water and got WET again. it looks awful in spots. needless to say, I am not a happy customer.

Very disappointed - looks VERY BLUE
I wanted a gray color so purchased Mossy Gray for my walkways and after painting I noticed that the color was very light, almost white. So I checked to make sure the color matched the swatch and it did so that was on me for the wrong color. Went back to HD and purchase Slate Gray and repainted all of my walkways again. After drying they looked BLUE!! I am really annoyed now because that color looks nothing like blue on the swatch. $85 down the drain again plus my entire Saturday.

I used the paint on our basement stairs. I previously had painted the stairs with slate grey. After 2 coats, some of the stairs will need a 3rd coat.
