Usually I would opt for the more expensive S.W. paint, but I was blown away at how good and smooth this paint laid down for an interior bedroom. Not odorless, but great quality! I will be using this paint again for future projects.

Paint finish is runny
I have been painting all of my life, professionally for almost 10 years and for myself and others for an additional 30 years. This paint was average to fair, not the worst I ever painted with but definitely not good. My major complaint is that it was prone to runs if you do not pay attention. Also it had a slight orange peel finish that was undesirable. I have never had much luck with Behr paint products and try to avoid them whenever possible.

Happy Painter
This is the second time I've chosen the Scuff Defense paint. It's super easy to apply and I love how it wears. While my space is not a high-traffic area, I prefer to use the scuff resistant paint, because, well accidents happen.

Beautiful color, many coats
I had lines of text to review this. HD won't allow for much text. So, here's a crappy summation--In Hidden Forest color, use a dark primer or plan on SIX coats for perf coverage. The color is beautiful! Lighter colors in this scuff def. paint, 2-3 coats.

Not Navy
The paint has great coverage however it is not Navy. It went on Royal Blue and dried royal blue even after several coats.

5 coats !!!!
Painted over a light grey paint 5 coats down the line I still see the grey !!!!!!! Do not buy this product !! Next time I stick to Valspar!!!

The first coat will act as a basecoat, and subsequent coats will be your topcoat. Depending upon the color you chose, more coats could be required and a tinted primer may be necessary. Hallway Fresh!
Great color! Used on my hallway walls and it turned it to look fresh and spacious. Covered all blemishes and applied very easy, no mess.

Not so scuff defense
I purchase this at HD as it was recommended from the paint expert for my kitchen cabinet makeover. I applied this to my pre-primed trim and when handling (nailing/caulking/ positioning) a lot of areas chipped. DO NOT PURCHASE.

To fix the finish, I recommend lightly sanding down the spots that chipped off, wiping the surface to remove the sanding dust, then touching up with more paint. This is lavender not gray
This is NOT gray. It is lavender. Don’t let the name fool you. It is absolutely 100% not gray. I just got the entire upstairs of my house painted this color and it is not even close to being gray. It’s a nice color but if you want gray, then this is not the color for you.

not worth it
I have been a Beher paint user for years. This time around its the worst. I bought this to oaintbthe laundry room abd after 3 coats, it still did not cover the old paint. Switched to Maeque and still no coverage. Its taking upto two coats. Ibthink its a bad batch. Because i painted the rest if the house (inside) using Sherman Willians) without any problems. Whats worst, had to go baxk to HD, and Mgr helped me out, tge Beher rep was usekess.

Typically our Ultra Interior Paint will cover in 1-2 coats, though additional coats may be needed depending on the surface, application, and color. One can of paint came in "unmixable" with the ink used to make the color stained onto the top of ...
One can of paint came in "unmixable" with the ink used to make the color stained onto the top of the lid; ended up with a Very Light Blue in 1 Gallon and a Dark Blue in another (First Gallon was unable to mix to reach the correct color)
Sadly I did not open the second color until about half way through painting >.< Will need Another Gallons to fix this (If I had opened them at the same time I probably would have just mixed them or something)

My neighbor asked me to paint a very old dresser...
My neighbor asked me to paint a very old dresser and two small side tables for him. It was supposed to be a quick job, with just light sanding and two coats of paint. He is a heavy smoker so I knew I might be dealing with some smoke residue. One table had such a thick coat of sticky smoke residue that I had to wash and sand it twice. I purchased this paint and primer in one with hopes it would cover the furniture in two coats. It actually took 3 coats to get a nice white, but I was pleased with the results and I think he will be too.

Not Thrilled
I bought Satin, looks more Semi Gloss to me shines like crazy. I hate it but not doing it again. It doesn't trim out nicely had to 2 coat it. Dries too fast brush got disgusting after an hour. Had to stop and clean brush of snot. Nothing like Behr ultra used to be. Might next time switch over and try Sherwin Williams. Behr has really changed and not for the better! I did not enjoy using this at all and coverage was poor!!! I could see the paint not going on smoothly making a thick layer when I barely coated my roller. This just caused more paint usage due to lack of smooth coverage. It lays down horribly. Getting it to be smooth was a nightmare. Awful experience.

Our Ultra Scuff Defense Paint is self-priming. However, it's not guaranteed to cover in a specific amount of coats. Multiple coats may be needed to achieve your desired coverage. To ensure proper paint consistency, we recommend stirring your paint for 3-5 minutes before using it. If it seems like your paint is drying too quickly as you're applying it, we'd suggest adding no more than 4 ounces of water per gallon to it to extend its workability during your application. French Silver or Blue that is the question
Purchased a five gallon bucket of this paint, and I swear the walls look blue. Really disappointed because the sample color was so pretty. Now I’m stuck with $150.00 gallon of paint. Probably will go back to HD to see if they could help fix the color. Hopefully they can help, so I could paint over this dreadful color.

Love this paint and have used it for multiple projects. We recently painted a sky light in our main bathroom. I admit i was not a fan but the pure white color did beautiful job popping the color so we now enjoy the added light in our bathroom. In the photo you can see the sky light and bathroom closet that were dingy but now look twice the size.
