Painted over a blue with Behr Marquee White Linen and it took 3 coats of paint to just get it to look decent. Still will need another coat. 3 gallons of paint just to paint a 13x13 bedroom!! I’ve always used the regular “Behr paint & primer in one” and never had an issue; even painted an almond color over a dark brown wall and it only took 2 coats of that. So why is the Marquee brand requiring me to use MORE when I should be using LESS, as it’s marketed???

We have kids and a dog. We needed this solution for our kitchen island. This is durable! Got a rental? You need this paint to reduce maintenance pain.

Always preferred Behr paints, and this did not let me down. The color is exactly what I wanted, a slate blue. Looks absolutely beautiful in the Br's with the ultra white trim, the rooms look fantastic. Exactly what I pictured in my mind before starting and exceeded my expectations. The paint goes on smooth with great coverage. Needed 2 coats, but that's how I roll anyways.... Highly recommend!!

The sample I got from the store appeared to be a light grey. It's not! I purchased two gallons, planning to do the entryway, hallway and stairwell. It's a beautiful bluish/purplish grey, depending how the light hits. Great for a bedroom or bathroom, but the undertones are too strong. It also took two coats for the entryway only. I have to go back to get a different shade with undertones that aren't so prominent. The previous color was beige.

This review is not about the paint itself. If you are buying a 5 gallon bucket of paint, thinking you will be getting 5 gallons of paint, think again. We received this and put the bucket next to our other Behr Marquee 5 gallon buckets of paint. It was noticeable smaller, so I checked the measurements. Yup - the Behr Marquee buckets contained 4.96 gallons of paint. This one had 4.53 gallons. So they rip you 1/2 gallon of paint. I called and complained and got a the most rude customer service response saying I should have googled this because it is common. I don't care if it is common - I should not have to google if I am buying a 5 gallon bucket of paint, will I get 5 gallons. Shame on Home Depot for advertising this as 5 gallons of paint when they are only going to send you 4.53 gallons. I looked HIGH and LOW on the product description page just in case I missed it. NOPE - nowhere does it mention you will only get 4.5 gallons. The only number they advertise is 5 gallons. The paint itself is great. We like Behr paint. It goes on easy, looks great, and holds up well.

Perfect white! Used this on my master bedroom and in my kitchen. Painted some furniture too.

We used this to paint a bunch of walls for renovation videos on our YouTube channel. It looks great on the walls and easily covered up a bunch of random color variations left from the previous owners. It's a nice color for when you don't quite want a stark white but you still want something light and bright! -UsNormally

January 1st and 2nd 2021 We use The satin finish in the bedroom On the walls and in the closet area it's beautiful I like a little bit of a sheen when you walk into a Room where the like glares off the paint sheen is the way to go this product is excellent we really enjoy it Hush grey Silver not too dark nor is it to light is right in the middle I highly recommend it

This color worked perfectly to tone down the previous colors on the walls that we painted. Only one coat and it was perfect!

Using this for trim really makes the newly painted rooms pop. We’ve painted ceilings and walls before but skipped the trim. Now my house looks fantastic.

Depending on light in the room, presents as either closer to pink or purple. See pics. Both are in the same room.

Great paint had to cover bright pink walls and it did . Did two coats and it was perfect !

This product was low odour as mentioned in the description and was easy to slide on. Used it on kids bedroom. Did mix it with white to lighten the color.

Behr Ultra is easy to work with, dries decently fast and has a low odor. I found the secret is to apply thin coats. I do two coats. It comes out much better and only takes up a tiny bit more time. I do all my cut ins first (by the ceiling), then roll the paint on thinly. I don't really care about covering every single millimeter of wall on my first coat since I go pretty thin. By the time I'm done rolling all 4 walls of the room (about 1 hour), the first coat is already dried (by touch)!! I then put on a second coat. Much thinner than the first coat and this coat covers everything that I may have missed during the first coat. The 2nd coat goes on much quicker and thinner and I'm done!

Great paint. It covered dark brown ceiling easily.

Paint goes on really well. Needed 2 coats to cover the old color (plus we have textured walls).

One coat coverage is all it took for my DIY project!!! Everything turned out great!!!

So it looks off-white after two dry coats, not close to the photo or description. Seems to be missing almost all the sand color. I like Behr paints very much I just don't think this was mixed correctly.

This color was perfect for my little girl's room. It was so bright and cherry and she loves it. The paint went on perfectly and covered up the mint green color that we used to have. I have never ordered paint online and had it delivered but we had a good experience with it.

I used this in the dining room on the lower half if the wall. I love how the eggshell finish contrasts the velvet rope satin finish above.

I recommend using a primer first and buying the less expensive paint. Unless you are painting over a lite colored wall, you will need to do 2 coats. Might as well get it done right. Image below shows original color, 1 coat and 2nd coat. Seems a coat of primer first blocks more effectively.

I have used many brands of paint and this is the worst I have ever used. First I spent over 160.00 for 5 gallons of paint. I have finished 2 rooms. Both rooms had to have 2 coats and in spots 3 to fully cover wall. When I finished and went back to remove painter's tape from trim, the paint peeled off the wall. Do not waste your money on this, cheaper paint works better. I can't return this paint because it is in a 5 gallon bucket so either have to throw away or try to make do. Still have 2 more rooms. Will not buy again. I was told behr was a good product. Had used this brand to stain deck last year and it coming off now too. Never again

I bought 4 gallons of paint for the baseboards, trim, and ceilings in my house. So far, I've done 3 rooms and a hallway and I still have a gallon and a half left. It's definitely brightening up the place. There's hardly any scent at all, it dries quickly, and my second coats are really just a quick touch up. I'm happy with my purchase.

I love the color it is bright and happy.

I used Twig basket color on lower half of wall with Back to Nature color on top. I accented the room (archway) with havana coffee. It totally transformed my room. Behr paint all the way. Love how easy it is to clean up & with very little odor. Easy to work with & reliable paint.

One and done! One coat was all it took for my painting project, and this was tested on both primered walls as well as just painting over existing paint. It actually went on easier over the existing paint than the primered wall, probably because the Behr already had primer in it. The color payoff is amazing, I couldn't be any more satisfied with how my project came together. This is now my go-to paint!

This paint color is my new favorite. I used it on an accent wall, dresser and shutters. I have received many compliments.

This color is beautiful color that gives a rustic, homey feel. Easy to work with.
