This purchase was a replacement for another soft-close toilet seat...
This purchase was a replacement for another soft-close toilet seat that one of my cats broke. She jumped down from the window sill onto the toilet seat while it was closing, disabling the mechanism. Now I have a beautiful and functional new one that matches the pink 1.28 gpf toilet in my restored 1959 bathroom. Bemis replacement toilet seats match any toilet and last for years--minus destructive pets.
