Stopped working after 5 uses. The plastic gear on the trimmer broke 4 teeth and the metal gear on the motor shaft no linger turns the trimmer. Replacement of that cheap plastic piece is over $30. Zero stars for this piece of junk.

After two summers this little unit has not let me down. The only problem is one of two batteries died within a month. I have better stronger tougher Ego electric trimmer which has had issues. But not this trimmer. The model I got also had the little attachment with wheels that turns into a Little Tikes mower. It’s like using a vacuum clean for small duty right around back door. I have a nasty steep and weedy front bank and this little guy eats through it. Very happy.

I “downgraded” from the 2-speed "12 in. 20V MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless String Trimmer” and as it turns out I like this one much better. The wheel located on the front of the prior model became a constant nuisance when I wanted to momentarily set the trimmer against a wall as it would roll and fall down. This spring in the Pacific NW has been wet and perfect for growing tall grass and weeds. Yesterday I plowed through two foot tall grass and blackberry bushes in creating a path through the property. It handles blackberry vines pretty well until they get to be larger than 1/4”. Regarding battery life, I have a several batteries. For the job yesterday I needed two. I’ve gotten 3-4 years out of a couple of the batteries but they are pooping out. When they are brand new they give you a good deal of time but I always carry an extra in a pocket. By the way, I’m a 73 year old male.

This little blower will do a nice job if you have a fully charged battery. Also, don't dilly dally. Don't stay grinding away in one area too long. If you're expeditious and do the main target areas of your yard first you won't have a problem.

Bought it less than a year ago which I recently moved to my new home. It was working fine in he beginning used it like twice. Winter came did not use it; spring came and now it does not work.. battery is fully charged

I have enjoyed this trimmer and was very happy with it until the auto feed stopped working. I changed spools watched the you tube videos and couldn't figure out the issue. Finally after looking closer I saw that the end of the spring in the auto feed advancement mechanism had "jumped" out of place. Moving it back in place and back in business. If you are having problems with the autofeed please check this as it is a 1 second fix. This thing does what I need it to. Will do all my trimming on 1/2 acre on one battery. I do have several batteries that I keep in rotation.

Portable, lightweight and powerful. My kids all want to use it.

It's a little weak but for the price, the fact that it has no cord, being able to swap the battery out with any of my other B&D product batteries, etc. it is a great value. I wouldn't expect to be able to use it for major leaf/debris blowing but it works great for quick jobs - cleaning out the garage, moving grass trimmings off the sidewalk, that kind of stuff. It's especially great for garage cleaning - it's so lightweight and easy to reach behind and around stuff!

Got this a while ago to get me by while my gas blower was in the shop being repaired and discover that it is very handy and perfect for keeping the driveway and walkways cleared and it is the perfect size and weight for my 6 year old granddaughter to use when she wants to lend a hand and help her Pop.

It's quiet, blows hard, and the battery lasts a good long time. It even blows the acorns off our sidewalk.

This is perfect for my needs a lightweight quiet leaf blower from my back deck for quick daily use. 10 to 15 mins of power is all I need to sweep my deck of debris and leaves this did blower did it perfectly.

Trimmer works fine. Blower is practically useless because it is weak. Batteries don't seem to have low voltage circuit protection.

When I was younger I worked 4 years performing grounds and maintenance using commercial grade equipment. At first I was hesitant about using an battery trimmer vs a gas powered trimmer. I must say I was impressed. The first time I used it, I didn't charge it. Right out of the box, I was able to get about 75% of my yard done. Just to give you some idea of my yard. I have a quarter acre with two trees - one if the front with exposed roots and one in the back. I have flower beds outlined with rocks and rose bushes. I have a fenced in backyard with playhouse and good size playground for my boys. I have a shed for my tools and and a 20x30 deck. After fully charging the battery i was able to cut 98% which included me edging the side walk. Assembly was easy and love the adjustable shaft to compensate for different height and the edger surpassed my expectation. It was easy to switch from trimmer to edger. Light weight and being able to adjust the handle was an extra bonus. The only cons I can write is the time it takes to charge the batteries. I have a timer on my outlet to make sure I don't over charge my devices. I would say at least 3 hours for a full charge. To prevent much inconvenience, I would edge my yard as much as I could and then charge it some while I use my lawn mower. When I finish using my lawn mower I would then use the time it was charging to finish edging the remaining areas. Still for the price and features I give it 5 stars.

cons: of all my 20v tools this is the only one I see not almost fully replacing its incumbent gas sibling. can't handle wet leaves almost at all (though tbf gas ones can't either beyond a certain point) & if your trying to push a pile you'll need to stop/rake periodically (again, tbf true w/gas as well but less often & w/bigger piles). pros: that said while I definitely still have use cases for my Husqvarna 125BVx turns out this little guy can handle a lot more than I expected! I seriously only bought this thing b/c it's small & light enough to fit in my tennis bag, just hoping the 2AH battery could clear a court on a fall Atlanta Saturday morning, but it easily handles our deck, driveway, garage, side stairs, etc. & (more importantly) since it's SO light (not to mention incredibly quiet!) my wife & kids will actually use it so it's worth buying just to share the blowing load! also like all lithium tools of any voltage swapping batteries takes single digit seconds versus fueling (let alone mixing fuel for) gas tools takes minute+. lithium (/electric in general) are also instant-on vs 2-stroke gas typically taking ~30 to prime, crank & warm up. bottom line: will NOT "replace" gas blower in most cases but WILL do a lot more than you'd expect out of it's form factor & 20v battery! also, size/weight may get others to help w/yard work so that's a big selling point too! finally, as w/all 20v don't get ripped off on branded low capacity batteries! 4-5AH can be bought after market for not much more than 2AH branded ones!

This produce is a fast way to get small job done. It is light wt. and easy to use. My 92 year old Mom uses it with no problem.

I do some light lawn-care for several places. I wanted something just enough for my needs: blowing debris off of walkways, steps, walls, etc. Well, it does that. Light enough to easily use with one hand for detailing. The two-speed feature is handy. I have other Max 20V tools so having another charger+battery itself made it worth the purchase. It lasts long enough for my regular needs, but it always helps to have an extra charged-up battery on hand. I don't know how well it will do for leaf management in the autumn, but it seems like it will do well to blow fluffy snow off of vehicles in the winter.

This is a great battery powered blower. Easy to assemble and great battery life. I have used it several time for extended periods with no breakdown in power. Nice easy to read ready recharge. Very solid product. This blower meets all my expectations! My 13 year old son uses it for his little lawn business and it works out perfectly for him. Lightweight but powerful!

I really like this Black & Decker lithium ion cordless sweeper. It is very powerful, yet lightweight. It comes with the battery and charger, which is very compact, compared to other chargers. The initial charging did not take very long. The blower has what other larger units have without all the bulk. There is only one switch to turn it on or off and does not have to be continually held down like other blowers. There is a power boost button for harder to blow items. This product is very reasonably priced for what it offers.

works great for a 20V, I especially like the nozzle design on the bottom. I wish the battery lasted a bit longer.

Easy to assemble and use. Lightweight and works as advertised. Had it for a few weeks, bought it to blow off back deck and walk ways and am very pleased.

I'm returning this blower because it doesn't have enough power to do the job effectively.

I was so excited to get this little set for myself. My husband has a huge commercial Weedwhacker and leaf blower. For leaves and I wanted some thing I can use for small jobs myself. Charge the battery overnight and was all set to go and within 10 minutes it shut off. I had barely blown the leaves off my front porch and back deck. The battery was red hot. I let it cool off and recharged and this time only lasted about 2 minutes! What a joke!

Battery gave up too fast. I put the battery to charge, when I went outside to use the blower, it turned off before I could finish the front of my home.
