Have had z1 year and barrel has burned through only burning paper

Purchased to burn a large amount of tree debris, shrub trimmings, fallen branches, scrap lumber etc. It's the size of a short steel trash can so it's not huge, but if you cut/break stuff down to 3ft or shorter, it will fit fine. As with any fire-starting, put paper, leaves, cardboard & smaller tinder-sized stuff in first to get your fire going, then gradually add larger items or you'll smother the fire. Ordinary charcoal lighter fluid and wooden matches (to drop in while lit) will help get it going quickly. SAFETY FIRST! Set it on a level concrete surface (or bricks/cinder blocks) away from overhangs, homes, vehicles, gas grills etc to avoid accidents, and keep a hose handy just in case. Once you're done adding material and flames aren't coming out the top, put the lid on to keep anything from falling in or sparking out. It will continue to burn for several hours, leaving nothing but ash and some charcoal embers. If you have a lot of trees and bushes that you trim regularly, this is the burn barrel you need.

This rubbish bin is exactly what l was looking for. It has great airflow for burning and has legs to keep it off the ground qhich increases airflow. The lid keeps items and hot ash contained. Great product, worth the price in my opinion.

Can style and size is just what I needed for my condo composting efforts!

Just what I needed to burn with at our cabin where we have to burn in this type or a pit.

The product came as advertised. It was packaged well and delivered within a reasonable time. The unit is made well and does the job.

Hey, it's a trash can with vent holes for burning stuff - and it works. The lid doesn't fit quite as well as I thought it should, but it is still usable...and the price was right. I can burn all my confidential/private papers (anything with an account number on it) - and that is a LOT faster and more secure than shredding them.

Definitely need the stirring stick!

There is nothing to assemble-----I took it out of the box and put the lid on. No dents or scratches.

This is the perfect little in yard composter for our vacation rental in Montana. Gets our guests into the composting process and doesn’t take up too much room. We like it!

I have been trying to find one for years, nobody carried it and finally ordered it on line. Price could be better, it is cheaper in other stores on line but Home Depot is closer for me. Since I can't drive anymore (cataracts), I need to depend on someone else to take me to the store. It works swell, I had one before, years ago, I live in a wooded area and do not trust just burning on the ground. It will be used primarily to burn bank statements and sensitive papers...shredding takes too long and is time consuming. I have had it only a few days. I have finished what I had to burn yesterday, and will not be burning for another week or so and cannot send a picture at this time. I will try to remember to take a pic. MAKE sure you have something close to open lid to add more paper, it is hot.

Excellent I use for burning a ton of old personal papers this product is much more compact and lid provide protection while burning verses the use of old fashion huge burn barrel drums.
