Keeps the racoons out of my Koi pond

Stopped working after a few days. Had to be returned

with the extension added on it becomes flimsy and dislodges itself from the ground spraying water continuously while laying face down on the ground.

Seems to work as advertised.

This unit is poorly designed with too much weight at the top. It didn't seem to hone in on the target either, making it useless to me. Unfortunately I can't find the packaging to take the stupid thing back, so I'm stuck with it.

Doesn’t trigger most of the time even when u wave an object right in front of it. Then it goes off unexpectedly. Also the unit is loose and rotates too easily, doesn’t stay where directed. I will return to Home Depot and exchange.

I have this same device. The problem with this system ( in my opinion) is the sprinkler does not shoot at what the photo eye sees, it sprays TOO HIGH ! if you lower the device then the photo eye then it does not see movement. My cure was to remove the sprinkler and install some PVC pipe and relocate the sprinkler to the line of sight of the photo eye and this device does what I need for it to do.

The batteries that came with it only lasted about 2 weeks. But my main complaint is that I have it set up vertically as directed, but it shoots water 20 up in the air. Never the less, it still scares the critters. How do you lower the stream of water without aiming it to the ground?

Works, sprays water, turns off. However it won't stop leaking. Tried different rubber washers. Pipe tape and sealer. Do not, and have not overtightened anything, it just keeps leaking. Waiting for a reply.

Blasted the dogs to the max. Sent them back to doggy town Bark Bark!!!!!

If you attach a gasoline hose to it and a small ignition it works great for home defense!

These things are great. I adjusted 2 of them to turn on when a dog appears in our yard, and adjusted the sprayer to aim high to hit the dog's owner square in the upper body. Its awesome, works in all weather sprays a 2-3 second pattern to assure a good hit. My security cameras capture every hilarious moment so I know its working. The idiots now avoid our yard and use other neighbors. You cant fix stu**d.

So yeah the dogs love it and think it's a fun water toy.... does not make them go away... they literally come to play with it.... Might be good for a cat

The cheap plastic hose connector constantly leaks water, creating a mud puddle around the base, resulting in the ground stake loosening and toppling over. It's also impossible to aim the sprayer in a desired direction because the whole unit swivels uncontrollably on its base whenever the sprinkler turns on. Worst of all, the unit spontaneously triggers itself even with no motion in the target zone, and the sensitivity adjust at minimum. Bird-X customer service unresponsive.

The spike on the bottom breaks off after a little use, making the unit garbage. Poor quality, would not recommend.

These units while quite flimsy worked well for approximately one week and then both motion sensors quit causing the sprinkler to be on at all times.

Works great, one small complaint, though. The plastic stake you’re supposed to stick in the ground broke after 2 or 3 uses. I replaced it with a metal one and have had no problems since. I set it up at night and it must work because I have had zero deer damage to my plants since I installed it.

1. It’s too sensitive to leaf waves in windy day. 2. The water head shots too high and is not adjustable to a lower direction. 3. The stock is too short and weak to keep the device on the ground. It works well in an wide open space. However, most people expect to aim at a flower garden or fruit trees. Hope you can enhance the design in your next generation of this device. Already recommended to friends who has open space/garden through social media group.
