What a fancy dishwasher. Clean dishes and everything else. Quiet without a doubt. We ran a sanitizing cycle and it took a few hours. Really only need this on rare occasions but had to try it out. Honestly it took a bit of time to figure it out all the options. Lots of combo buttons and I still need the guide to program it. Lots of options to run different cycles. We'll mostly use normal. The PowerControl is cool allowing you to decide which of 4 wash zone quadrants of the bottom tray get one of 3 cleaning levels Light-Normal-Heavy. I imagine this is really useful for cleaning a heavily soiled pan. The dishes come out very clean and dry. One item placed on the top 3rd rack didn't clean very well but it really should have been on the bottom rack. I can't imagine anything missing on this dishwasher. Bottom rack was very difficult initially to push fully in until after running a few cycles. The sides where the wheels run has a channel that requires real effort to push the rack in. It's much easier now, still firm but not sticky. The top 2 racks move easily. The 2nd rack can be adjusted vertically giving more height to either the bottom or middle depending whether the rack is adjusted up or down. The silverware bin is on the bottom and is a lot smaller than we're use to. However, the top 3rd rack can hold very flat items like silverware or measuring cups. It will get used since the silverware basket is small. Also the 3rd rack can be adjusted to be a bit deeper. Installation: Took an hour to install, not counting removal of the old one. The package does not include the water line hose or the connection part. You must have them before starting. Fortunately I was able to use the connection from the old dishwasher. Had to buy the hose. The side clips used to secure the dishwasher are okay. A bit hard to install but they work. Need to install the clips right since removing them will destroy them. The old machine was hardwired. We had to redo the electric but they provide the 3 prong plug and a special outlet box with their plug wired directly. IFI: Connection to WIFI took a few tries. I had to reset twice by holding the reset button for 4 seconds. The display refreshed and then the WIFI connection worked. Not sure if I really need the app. It's useful to allowing remote start and setting a default or using the PowerControl which is must easer in the app than using the display panel, the app does let you if dishwasher is running, if the door is open or when to add drying agents and when clean the filter. Where this unit shines is how quiet it is, the cleaning which is why we have it and the options including sanitizing and drying.

The Bosch 800 Series 24 in. Stainless Steel Top Control Tall Tub Pocket Handle Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub is amazing. The dishwasher arrived well packed. The install was very straight forward and was completed within one hour. The dishwasher has many very desirable features; a stainless-steel tub, 3 racks, and movable racks. It is sleek and very modern looking. It preheats the water so you have supreme cleaning action. Hands free, voice controlled with Alexa or Google home. The layout of the racks will allow you to load all the dishes and cooking utensils that you have from dinner. I am very impressed the cleaning action. In a full load of dishes not one thing was left unclean. Bosch is known for offering good products. I anticipate that this dishwasher will offer many years of use.

Wow, this is the best dishwasher I've ever had by far, amazing is an understatement. The paperwork says that it operates at 42db but normal speach is 60 and a whisper is 30, I can't even tell it's running unless I look at the light so I think that it operates at less than 30 personally. It's truly unbelievably quiet. The 3rd rack is a total bonus, allows for so much more space! Plus that middle shelf adjusts to multiple levels to fit practically any sized pot or pan into the machine. I've never had dishes come out so clean either. I've had MANY mid-range costing dishwashers, multiple brands also, but never anything like this! Plus the Crystal-Dry system, not sure how they do it, but they dishes and glasses, actually come out dry and spotless!! It has a delay, and multiple settings, and you can sync it with your smartphone, but I wasn't able to connect mine yet. I'll try again soon, but for now, buttons work perfectly, very responsive to touch! Not one complaint! I love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love my Bosch dishwasher. Have had it for close to a year and it still looks like it did when first purchased. Especially like the remote start, and customizable features. Best purchase for our family. Also, there is hardly any sound, which is why I had to purchase a sign to let everyone know when the dishes are dirty or clean.

I did a thorough research and based on every source this model was the better one (cost was not a factor as I was willing to pay whatever for the best). The machine broke within 2 weeks. I used the app and called repairman. Took another 1.5 week to show up. He said he needed a new part. It took another 2 weeks. When he arrived he said that the box was empty and that the part he needed will take 2 months to arrive. Returned the machine. Won’t buy Bosche

It's very quiet except for some loud gurgling when the water is draining. It's mostly OK, but--it has an unpleasant smell. I've run it several times, cleaned the filter (which was pristine), and run cleaning treatments through it. The smell has dissipated somewhat but is still very noticeable. Another annoyance: the delay start can only be activated from the phone app. Why? If I'm in the kitchen just finishing loading the dishwasher, I don't want to have to get out my phone and open the app when I'm standing right next to the dishwasher!

The worst! My daughter’s play and spray pretend kitchen would clean better. I was so excited to get this during a kitchen remodel. It’s been garbage since the first day. I hand wash my dishes now because it’s disgusting to grab a dish with baked on food. I’ve tried different detergents, rinse aids, dishwasher salt, citric acid… just gross, dirty dishes. I am finally accepting my loss and replacing it after 3 years of torture. Wasted money. Do NOT buy!

Best dishwasher I have ever had. So silent you question whether it’s on. Dishes come out clean with no film. The only “flaw” for me is the timer which automatically goes dark once that cycle starts. The only sign of the machine working is the red dot projected on the floor. Good luck if you have cats. I have read that in some of the models you get a countdown instead of a red dot. I would have preferred that but was not available when I searched. Overall - a pricey but fantastic dishwasher

The heat pump on the unit delivered did not work. As a result, the upper arm was not spinning, the detergent wasn't dissolving, the dishes and glasses were not cleaned, and the unit was very wet inside after running. The Bosch service tech installed a new heat pump, and the problems hopefully have been resolved. Dishes are clean, dampness in unit post-cycle is reduced, and the upper arm is spinning properly during a wash cycle. I'm a fan of Bosch appliances, but this type of quality issue should not occur. This is a top of the line appliance, and it wasn't good quality from the start.

Ten years later, we figured Bosch would be a good choice. The dishes come out great! The drying function is top of the class. BUT - to operate the machine I had to call the appliance store, watch at least three Youtube videos, and there are still features that are a mystery to me. It reminds me of Microsoft. They had to keep updated their Office apps. They didn't need to. They just did. They became unrecognizable. There is no consistency from my old Bosch (still have it) to my new one. Finally, if you need to download an app to access some features, the design engineers failed in their job.

It's a quiet dishwasher with plenty of adjustable features to make it compatible with our needs. We expect it to last many years!

So many convenient features, including the third rack-using it for most of my silverware and water bottle straws and lids. -and they no longer fall to the bottom. Dishes come out sparkly clean! The nicest dishwasher I've ever owned. -I've owned MANY! My only complaint is the plastic smell in the dishwasher. I've been told the smell would dissipate after a few washes. I'm on my 14th wash cycle and the smell is still there. 😭

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I was shopping for a new dishwasher I unfortunately went with a different brand because it was less expensive. Upon the first use the inferior brand banged and clanged. Fortunately, I was able to return the dishwasher and I upgraded to my first choice, the Bosch 800. Night and day difference. The Bosch is so quiet, easy to load, easy to operate, and dries plastic well. Lesson learned - you get what you pay for.

Your dishes do not need to be pre-rinsed with this 800 series. It's wifi enabled, and when connected to the app you can customize the wash cycles, and direct it where to focus on heavy soiled pans/dishes. The app will let you know how long the cycle will be, let you know when it's done and even let you know when the rinse aid is low! This BOSCH 800 is absolutely amazing.

The Bosch 800 was my choice for our vacation home when our old dishwasher needed replacing. We have a Bosch dishwasher in our permanent residence that we bought in 2017. I was very disappointed to have the new dishwasher fail after running two loads of dishes. The water pump had to be replaced. I was also disappointed to have to order a silverware basket in order to have enough room for the silverware. The flip tines in the upper and bottom rack are not as flexible as in earlier model.

So far, I’m loving it. Extremely quiet! Dishes come out sparkling.

Very quiet as expected. The 3rd tray design could be better. The controls are a little tricky to use as differed touch pressure is required on different switches. But, it does clean the dishes well.

This unit is very quiet and does a good job of cleaning. Loading and unloading is easy. The top tray for silverware and small bowls is an additional bonus as well as the option to lower or raise the top tray. It would be nice to have more options for the drying cycle.

I ordered this dishwasher from Home Depot because I am a big fan of Bosch dishwashers. The dishwasher was delivered two weeks ago, and I have called Home Depot multiple times to schedule installation......2 weeks later and numerous times on the phone, and I have yet to get an appointment for installation. I finally had to call today to cancel and request a refund for the haul away and installation cost. Absolutely appalling and maddening.

It cleans great and is so quiet that we really appreciate seeing the red light projected on to the floor. And, we really appreciate the app letting us know the cycle is finished and it the machine needs more rinse added. It is such a joy using this machine compared to the difficulties we had with our previous machine.
