Loud Buzz from LED
Load buzz from LED even when using comparable LED dimmer switches. Liked the look and performance of the fan and unit however, the light needs to corrected or a replacement that would work without the annoying buzz!

Easy to install. Much quieter than my old units and the lighting is awesome. I went with a unit one size up from the recommended size and I am glad that I did.

This was installed in a bathroom remodel. The instructions was easy to follow. When on, this thing is so super quiet. Keep forgetting it is on. The led light is bright. Almost did not need a bathroom vanity light. Looks very durable. It does take out a lot of moisture (tested with hot shower).

Purchased this exhaust fan to replace a cheapo 80s bathroom exhaust fan. No more steamy mirror and no more sweaty walls after taking a shower. So happy I did this! No attic access, and it was a breeze to install.

Terrible design for cover
Cover does not snap in place Has two little springs that are very difficult to get in there and when you do, it will not hold the cover in place terrible product design engineers need to go back to the drawing board.
I’ve replaced plenty of these fans in the past this was a new design ridiculous returned and bought the Panasonic

Should say you have to make the opening larger than normal. didn't install it because I don't want to cut my ceiling joists

If your current housing is smaller, you will need to make adjustments to your ceiling. cover installation
I would give this product a much higher rating but for the weird, ridiculous, and frustrating spring system used to attach the cover/light to the housing. Looks like I'm not the only one who doesn't care for it as you will note that it's never addressed in the video showing how to install the unit. It's an example of some engineer somewhere concerned more with a novel idea than with practicality. Ought to take him out into the field and have him work with it.

Does not dim
The package said that this was dimmable. Attaching it to a dimmer (Luton Diva) created such a loud buzzing that I had to go back to a regular switch.
The UV is nice but the fan stays on all the time. No way (apparently) to have just the UV light run without the fan.
The installation process was very complicated. It took me three hours to get it in place.
Indeed, trying to get the clips to work to secure the cover to the unit is quite difficult.

Works and looks good
A bit overpriced but it looks good and works good. Install was easy. And they either replaced the cover retention springs or everyone on here is using theirs wrong becuase mine went on easy and hold the cover really tight to the ceiling. It is very secure and was the easiest part of my installation. I saw the reviews and was worried about that part of the installation. You could imagine my suprise when it went right in perfectly.

Can be installed from below with some difficulty
Managed to install this without attic access. Hardest part is getting the vent attached to the hose and positioned properly. Taping it was difficult as I could not pull the existing hose very far down. Also could not get the vent housing tabs in place, but the single screw secured it ok. Missing grommet for wiring hole. Acceptably quiet with bright light. Cheap sounding rattle upon startup. Panasonic quieter with better quality components, but don't like the delayed start and more $.

Cover install - needs a better way
I recently tried to install the cover with led light. I gave up after 10 attempts. It’s impossible to install if you have big hands. I would recommend the use a similar design to Cooper Halo recessed lighting. Very easy to see, easy to align clips to brackets and works.

Terrible capture mechanism for cover
Fan looks great and works just fine. But the vent cover capture mechanism is the worst of any fan I’ve ever installed. Pops out repeatedly while trying to install it and doesn’t retain once you get it right. Horrendous.

Baffle fails to close
This is my second Nutone in which the internal Baffle fails to close completely letting Hot attic air into my bathroom. Instead of replacing (yet again) I have chosen to add a secondary, much better closing baffle onto the end of the exhaust tube. Just know that these fail and your bathroom will get HOT. It looks pretty though, which my wife likes. Fan and light both work as they should and it isn't too loud

TrueSeal™ Damper Technology, featured on InVent® Ventilation Fans, are specifically designed to remain open slightly when the fan is off. This protects the fan components from any light bulb-generated heat on lighted models, by allowing the heat to move into the ductwork and away from the fan. Any backdraft in the ducting will cause the damper flap to fully close, or “seal”, effectively preventing outside air from entering the room. It is the job of the roof or wall cap damper to stop the outside air from returning back through the duct work. If your wall cap or roof cap doesn't include a built-in back draft damper, it may be good to consider this option.

Doe Not do what it says it will do!
After having this fan in my bathroom for a year mold just started to form on the ceiling right next to each side of the vent. We use the fan every single time we shower. And make sure the bathroom is vented since there is no window. I thought this fan was supposed to prevent this??
