Delivery was delayed for several days

It worked fine, my complaint is the lip is not deep enough after drilling the 6" hole. I had a hard time connecting the duct because of that. I have 1x6 as sheathing.

Vents my bathroom with ease .

worked as described. well made easy to install.

Like I have seen many others report, this product allows water leakage through the gaps at the base. Luckily it does not leak outside of the tube and I have not yet connected my vent hood…. I verified that it was the gaps by sealing it off everywhere except for the bottom seam but when it rains hard, it starts to trickle steadily down the vent hose! Replacement on my roof (metal) would be a big pain so hopefully Broan sees this and somehow makes right on this issue because I’m not too happy!

i used to have the Broan 4" roof exhaust vent with 4" rigid duct work to my bathroom Panasonic fan that had 110 cfm but always was kinda loud when running. But i changed the ductwork and the Broan roof exhaust vent to a 6" and now my bath fan is so much more quiet. I also made sure to insulate the ductwork also since i live in NorthWest Indiana

The cap was fairly well constructed except for one issue. Along the back and sides the metal was not welded well. There were gaps between the cap and its base which would allow water to leak under the cap and down into the duct. I used JB Weld to fix the issue and it works fine now. Broan needs to watch their quality control.

Worked fine for my job, needed to add a roof vent for our master bath. Be aware you will most likely need to add a 6" stovepipe coupling inside due the short attachment on the vent. There was not enough length on the vent to successfully attach the vent duct.

This vent is low profile, and the black color makes it blend in well. Easy to install.

Damper operates very smoothly. Well made.

This item is well made. The material was a heavier grade than a similar unit at a similar price in the store.

Good product. Easy to install. I did add a finer screen to it though to keep out wasps.

Decent quality but made some 'improvements' to make it near perfect. I sprayed rubberized undercoat on the inside and lots on the outside to dampen the noise that heavy rain might make. I super glued memory foam on the inside/top so the damper would not clang into the metal during high winds. I replaced the front screen with a wider screen that covered the whole opening and added (2) sheet metal screws to make it more secure and less likely to ever be pulled out by an aggressive bird or squirrel.

The screen would stop birds but not wasps or hornets. I changed the screen to correct this without impacting airflow. Also, the metal flap is so flimsy it does not set on the foam seals. Flap will not maintain a flat profile no matter what you do. Some redesign is needed here. It's too bad these short comings exist as the unit is well built otherwise.

It was sturdy and easy to install, my only complaint was the flimsy screen to keep out animals..

Product works great. Shipping on the other hand has issues. We had to return 2 before we got one we could use.

Product was as expected and was exactly what was needed. Only issue is this model (with the damper), isn't stocked at the local HomeDepot and had to be ordered on line, but that was easy and shipping was prompt.

The installation instructions are good. I wish the round, 6" duct was longer. It is very difficult to attach ducting to it when little to none of it protrudes on the underside of the roof.

It. is good quality and a few dollars cheaper than the ones stocked in the stores, they have rivets holding everything together, and the finish is cheap. Broan special order cap is far better and less expensive.
