This is a great Bundle by Crownwall for those that either want to step up their organization or simply clean up a cluttered space. The wide panels have a great clean look. Not quite as busy as the standard narrow panels i have seen in the past. I really like the Locking feature for the larger accessories. A simple thing but is so nice not having to put the lark hooks back on after knocking one off that does not lock. Mounting screws are hidden by each additional panel keeping the look very clean. all in all i am very Happy with this kit

This is an excellent way to organize your tools, brooms, whatever you have lying around your garage. The set up is pretty easy and straight forward and you will love the results. The main and most important part of installing the panels is that the first panel must be level.. After the first panels is in place, you have 7 more panels to put up.There is a plastic cap that you add to the top that gives it the finished look. The finished size is 8 feet long by 4 feet wide, which is a lot of space. I could not be happier with this unit. It looks great and very effective in getting rid of clutter.

I had to upgrade from the peg board that was well worn out over the years. I needed something that would hold light and heavy yard tools and some sports equipment. The CROWNWALL system was perfect! It holds a ton of weight when installed correctly and includes many hooks and accessories in the kit. The wall was very easy to install by myself, but having help with the first row definitely makes it go faster. Highly recommended!

I love the fact that you can’t see the screws. They are hidden behind each slatwall panel. It gives it a clean look. I installed it in my shed so I didn’t have to deal with finding studs. The instruction were straight forward but I watched the video anyways. The video made the install very simple. At first I was trying to hold the first board in place by hand. But I decided to put a nail up to balance it on. See my picture below. It can hold 150 lbs per linear foot. The modern looking design is awesome. The 20 piece locking hook kit gives you plenty of options for hanging just about anything. I installed the whole 8x4 in one section but the modular design can be broken up into sections. It also can easily be cut with a jig saw. The possibilities are endless when hanging your stuff on this great looking slate all.

Great space saver The slat wall is, whereas are used to have everything all over the floor now all the kids toys are hung up on the wall along with some of my tools. I only had 6 feet and the slats for 8 feet so I use my tablesaw to trim them down and hang them in a 90° angle. This kit comes with plenty of hardware hanging items. All the hooks and hardware are a sturdy heavy metal, not the cheap thin ones that go on standard pegboard. I hung it on a concrete wall so it was not easy, it was time consuming and I had to provide my own screws. On the 90° piece I used the screws that came with it and they went right into the middle studs.

The Crownwall Slat Wall Panel Set is the answer to all the clutter that you accumulate in the garage or work area. It can be arranged in any way to handle your situation. It’s 4’ x 8’ so you get a lot of room along with 20 pieces for hanging. I think you can buy extras too. Very sturdy design but I suggest you only attach to studs. Each panel interlocks with each other very smoothly

Well here's a high class product that will have your garage, workshop, or garden shed looking looking like you could be on a TV show with that pretty blonde lady who cooks, bakes, and decorates better than nobody else. I've mostly heard this described as "slat wall". Understand in some areas folks call it "slot wall". I believe it started in stores and they decided to sell it to the rest of us. It's a big solid investment but it is the best way to make use of every inch of storage on your wall while making it look good. I'd hung my stuff on 4-inch, 20penny nails for a long time. As seen in the included picture. But I figured it was time to upgrade to the modern wall storage system. Putting this system in my tool shed required some planning as the instructions say to attach it to studs, 16 inches on center. All I had were 2 steel structural ribs 5 feet apart that are the frame of the shed. The 2 x 6 attached to the wall where I had hung my shovels would become the top plate for attaching my studs. The studs could be any old piece of wood if it was long enough to reach to the floor. I used an old 2 x 4, and a couple of 1 x 4s. Putting this wall together reminded me of hanging siding. When hanging siding, you're not attaching it to the wall as much as you are hanging it on the wall. If it's loose it can expand and contract as needed. So screwing the planks of this product to the wall, you don't have to make the screws so tight as to crush the product. Making them snug is perfect, even a hair or fingernail loose is better, to allow for expansion, contraction and natural movement and settling of the building. Once you have the first plank secured, they all fall into place. They might look a little curved and warped where you left them scattered while you work. But once you drop then in they snap straight onto the preceding layer very nicely. I may have started them a little too low on the wall, because you work from the bottom up. I'll live with it. If you have 2 drills it makes the work go smoothly using one for pilot holes and the other as a drill driver. I used 3 as I was putting tek screws in the 2 steel ribs and the supplied wood screws in my 4 structural studs. I was working in 102-105 degree weather so a break every hour or so. I spaced the work out over 3 days, Day 1 was a lot of planning. Now it's time to get organized. The hardware is not cheap. A box of accessories would be a great gift for someone who owns this.

Had some cheap hooks screwed to plywood and it served its purpose but wasn't easy to use. This wall system is much easier to customize and rearrange as new items need to be hung up. The PVC slats were easy to install with the provided screws. The hooks come in a variety of sizes and shapes to fit many items. The tools are a lot more organized now and there is less clutter on the floor.

Initially, I was confused as to how this bundle would ship. This is not a 4' x 8' panel. It is (8) 6 inch PVC panels. Better for me. I plan to use it in a few different areas. You need at least 2 panels to support the assorted "Locking Hooks in the Kit. If using in multiple areas as I am, you may need to order additional "Top Trim" pieces for a finished look. The panels and top trim interlock making installation to the studs easy. My bundle came with (2) 20 piece "Locking Hook Kits". Each kit contains (2) 9" long padded double "bike hooks". (4) 4 1/2" heavy duty double hooks. (2) 5 1/2" single curved hooks and (12) 4" regular peg hooks. All except the peg hooks have adjustable slides allowing you to relocate the hooks. The peg hooks are designed to be screwed in to keep them secure. This system is super easy to install and is extremely versatile. I would give them 10 Stars if possible for Quality, Functionality, Design, Ease of Installation and Appearance.

This slatwall panel set is made of heavy duty PVC and measures 4 x 8 feet. The individual slats are about a half inch thick and I feel will last a lifetime in my garage. The 20 hooks that are included this bundle is more than enough for everything you need to hang. They also included end pieces to give the slatwall a finished look. Every impressed with this product.

Great heavy duty slat wall. We previously had a different brand slat wall, and we always really liked it, and decided to upgrade to this one. Our old set was definitely much more residential, and this one can handle a more commercial, heavy duty load. If you install it properly, it can hold anything. The hooks, except for the single hooks, are locking hooks, and can hold up to 55 pounds. All but the single hooks are rubber-coated, and it comes with plenty to start. One of my locking hooks did not have the locking portion, so I'm waiting to hear back as to how to get the locking piece. The biggest difference between this set, and my old one is that the slots are much further apart, to accommodate the locking, and I much prefer it. With more slats, you want to hold more things, and unless you're having a lot of little things, it can't really accommodate that, because the item needs to hang. These hooks are holding our (very large) umbrella stroller, chairs, battery lawn equipment. The list goes on. Very versatile set, with lots of practical applications for storage.

Slat board is an advancement over the ¼” pegboard for tool organization on a wall. However, slat board remains constructed of pressboard covered with melamine. In high humidity or damp conditions, it does eventually warp, and does occasionally suffer structural integrity damage when attached fixtures are overburdened. The damaged portion of the slat is no longer available for use, and if a cosmetic eyesore, requires replacement of the entire panel. Garage Royalty has a product Crownwall, which is slat board offered in a 4 ft x 8 ft panel kit. It was offered for evaluation in the HD Seeds program, and here is my evaluation. First, the shipment of tool mounting hardware was received perforated through the shipping container. The hangers are metal coated with a scratch resistant coating, and adjustable anchor knobs. They are available in several sizes and configurations. The slat board wall panel kit arrived a week and a half after the hangars. The kit included 8’ lengths 6”slats constructed of PVC, anchor screws, installation directions and “J” trim edging. One trim piece was missing from the damaged shipping container. The installation directions were precise. When properly leveled, and anchored, the panels snap together hiding the screws for a seamless installation appearance in combination with the trim edge. The process is very similar to house siding installation. The structure’s load bearing rating is 100 lbs/sqft. The full back design helps eliminate warping, and the hollow cavities across the panel length permit space for passage of electrical wiring. The slat accessory slot is universal, so it will accept standard slat board accessories. Installation still requires a minimum of 2 people. Time to install was quicker than the standard pressboard slat. The product is made in Canada.

I chose this slat wall because I noticed that it came in individual sections and you could hang these in different areas on your wall. I love that versatility. I'm putting half of it on one side wall of my garage and half on the other side. There are 8 each of the 8 foot long slats which are 6 inches high. You can stack them all (for a 4'x8' slat wall) or split them up. The set comes with trim edges which can be cut to fit the sides if you choose to split up the slat wall. Comes with 20 assorted hanging hooks which lock into place by screwing down the hook when you get it in place. (see pictures for more detail). The gray color gives this a nice clean and stylish look. This is the best slat wall configuration that I've seen and is really functional for the garage, work room, shed or basement! This set arrives in 2 boxes and contains 20 hooks and a bag of screws along with a box containing the 8 slats and trim pieces. I love the clean look of this set and the ability to get my tools, hose, and other items off the garage floor!!!

My yard tools were starting to get in the way of my work. When working in my yard and garden I usually gather the tools I’ll need that day and load them in my yard wagon. Then I have everything handy as I pull the wagon around the yard with my mower. When finished I bring everything back in my basement garage and lean them up against the wall until next time. This makes the garage look junky and it’s hard to get to the tools I need. Then I found this slat wall system that was easy to put up and has many different kinds of hooks and baskets for hanging up tools to get them out of the way. It was very easy to assemble using the directions and videos on YouTube. It gives great instructions for sheetrock walls. I have cinderblock walls so I attached 1x4’s to the wall with Tapcon screws and then screwed the slats to the wood. You don’t have to do all that, you can just screw the slats to the cinderblocks with 2” Tapcons. Now I can hang all of my yard tools up out of the way. It looks neater and it’s easier to get to them.

I got this about a month ago and really like it. The main thing that I like about it was that there is not a lot of flex to it, it is very sturdy. There is quite a bit of installation know-how needed just so you are aware. As you can see from the tools required in the instruction manual you will need some equipment, especially if you are installing this on drywall. My installation will not require as much work as I have exposed studs in my garage. The hardware this package comes with is very heavy duty. There is no flex in the metal and I trust that it will hold all of my tools and not drop anything on my vehicles.

I got the Crownwall PVC Slatwall Panel Set to organize tools etc in my steel framed metal shed. I needed more info on how to install this system as there are no flat walls or wood studs available to attach it to. I messaged Crownwall, and within a few hours got an email and then a phone call back from a Regional Manager who was very helpful in helping me design a working frame to the metal shed and then attach the slatwall to it. It will take a bit more effort to get it up and installed but once installed I am confident that the system has the capability and built in strength (50lbs/square inch)to handle everything from my power tools, garden tools, ladders and storing garden hoses and supplies over the winter. This kit came with a good assortment of hooks, if you go to their website there are also shelves, baskets etc that will also fit into the systems slatwall design. With its large size, I will be able to organize almost everything in the shed onto one wall allowing me to have a lot more floor space and be able to find my tools at a glance. It will fit nicely into an 8' space between structural supports in the shed. I am sure after the installation I will find other beneficial applications for this system

I can't express just how happy I am with my Crownwall Slatwall Panes Set. I got this for an application a little different than is usually thought of with this kit. I got it for my bird room to hang toys, etc. on. The Slatwall panels were easy to put up. There is a video on the GarageRoyal website that gives you really good instruction on how to put it up if the written instructions aren't good enough for you. It comes with an amazing assortment of 20 different hooks, 8 of which are locking. They hold a wonderful assortment of toys for my babies and a couple of the bigger ones are perfect perches! I just hope my birds love it as much as me.

This has ended up being a great system and I’m already considering adding to it. It replaced a single bar type rack that held similar accessories. Now I have a whole section of the wall to work with. For my install I used the full 4’x 8’ on a section of my concrete garage. Rather than drill 40+ holes into my foundation I framed a section and put sheathing over it. This made a makeshift wall to install this system to. This ended up working well and I like that the section is elevated a bit from the concrete. The install of the actual system itself went quick and easy after properly positioning the first panel. Everything snapped into place and is sturdy. Once installed the accessories have been fun to play around with. For my purposes the basic kit that’s included has been enough if not more than I needed. You get a good variety to hang all sorts of tools and such. If I had one complaint it would be that at least in my case I got 12 of the longer basic steel hooks. A mix of some of the smaller ones would have given me a few more options. Build quality of everything is very good. The plastic slats are smooth and flexible. Nothing is brittle and they should be easy to cut. This in combination with the accessories, which have a nice coat of paint, makes shifting and sliding them around the slats slick and easy. The locking knobs for the larger parts have given me no issues. Overall I can recommend this system. It’s certainly helped me get everything organized and easy to access. If planning a big re-do I’d check out the manufacturer’s website for ideas. There are a variety of different kits available depending on what you want to hang.

I absolutely love this slatwall system. I have a small beach cottage and I am always looking for good storage solutions. I have to keep everything off the floor in the unfinished lower level of my place as we get flooded occasionally with the big Atlantic storms. This keeps many items stored at the right height. I attached it directly to the block foundation predrilling for tapcon screws. This works out great. I would highly recommend this system.

Satisfying DYI project. First off it is amazing how much neater things look with the CrownWall compared to nails in the wall to hang your garden tools, not to mention how much more can fit in the same space. And things are easier to access. Tools are not covering each other. My installation was nonstandard. Installed the CrownWall in my pole barn where the wall studs run horizontally. Needed to add the vertical bracing. So, unlike the normal installation there in no drywall behind the unit. You might think that would the unit less sturdy, but no, the unit is very solid (thanks to sandwich construction of the pvc panel segments, see photo). When hanging three shovels in a single spot, between a pair of vertical bracings, there was no flexing in the unit. All the hooks are well constructed and secure easily and securely to the unit. Installation was easy, under 2 hours, and I even cut down the 8’ runs to 6 ‘. Used my jig saw and the material cut easily. You could probably use a hand saw and cut through the material with little effort, not that I tried that. Very happy with the unit and glad I have it.

I was on the verge of purchasing the old corkboard style tool storage system but chose to try the CrownWall system instead, and am I glad I did! It’s easy to see that this panel set will last forever. It’s well made with heavy duty plastic which interlocks to create a strong support system that will hold most of my tools easily. It comes with a variety of hooks (and more can be purchased separately) that you can adjust to fit most tools, regardless of size. Installation is fairly simple. Just be sure to lock each panel onto the previous one before securing. There is a YouTube channel that shows how to install it if you prefer over the written instructions. This is a wonderful system that I can’t see how you’d not be happy with!

Where it shines is in the simplicity of the system, and how well the final product works. With this product I was able to clean up a messy space in my garage. Once assembly started, things moved fast and easy. Where it fell short was in the little things... Mine arrived with no instructions. Not a huge issue, since a bunch of folks of YouTube have posted how-to videos. Mine arrived with lots of extra screws, but missing the fastener clamps and hardware for a number of the hooks. And finally, while they get points for including the necessary bit for the screws, they lose all those points and more for the complete garbage they provided for screws... some went in, many stripped out the square head, and more than a few snapped and had to be removed with Pliers. Eventually, I just pre-drilled pilot holes so the poor screws didn't have to work so hard. If I wasn't on something of a time crunch, I probably would have just gone to buy different screws. If they were taking suggestions, these would be my 3: 1- better screws; 2- better final QC prior to packing and shipping; 3- make the length just 1 inch longer so the ends can actually be mounted as intended. Despite these issues, the product is really nice when done... easily adjustable to fit a variety of items, and rock solid on the wall.

Crownwall 4 by 8 is by far an excellent storage system! At a hundred pounds (34 kg) per square foot load bearing rating the main concern is the structure to which it is mounted. Being modular lets it be hung in about any space available. Enough screws are provided to insert about every two square feet; (a driver bit is included in the kit) so, yeah, it’s sturdy. My ladder weighs about 35 lbs (16.4 kg). The rubber coated hooks are rated at a little over 50 pounds (17 kg) each while the smaller hooks are rated at 10 pounds (4.5 kg) each. The instructions recommend tapcon screws if mounting to cinder block or concrete. Careful with the packaging; from my delivery point to my installation point I dribbled mounting screws. They were easy to find, just annoying…… They were put in a ziplock bag for safer keeping. Each 6 inch (16.24 cm) panel can be cut into smaller sections to customize for a specific fit. Smoothest cuts will be achieved with a mitersaw, but a jigsaw or oscillating saw or even a cut off tool will work. Recently purchased and installed the 96” wide bundle. Super easy to install although if you’ve never used a drill or know how to locate studs, I suggest you get help from someone that has that knowledge. Otherwise, the instructions were excellent and the wall is versatile in organizing your tools. Will be purchasing additional accessories because we really like this product.

Quality slatwall that was easy to install. Had a couple questions during the process that were quickly answered with a phone call to CrownWall-Garage Royalty! Definitely worth the money! We combined two sets of 4×8 to make our 8x8! Will purchase another 4×8 for opposite wall soon! Loved the 20 piece accessories that came with each set! We only have 6 unused hooks out of 40! Will use on next purchase though!

Put up behind my work bench and got a lot of things off of it and organized. Great product.
