The deeper box gives you adequate space to make a double connection without fear of cross checking wires. Would definitely recommend over the 18 cu. in. box.

The plastic is thick enough to work with. It's easy to install on a stud with the two nails that it comes with. Easy to feed wires or cables into too.

The box is notMade of a strong plastic

They somehow need to modify the wire knock-outs so when the installation is complete air flow through the box is blocked. This not specific to this company's product, it's industry wide.

the cable holes have break-off tabs that snag and tear the cable sheathing - horrible, and should be discontinued

I used this to install a 50 Amp Range Receptacle. This product could have been better if screws were used instead of nails.

easy to use

Use these for new construction and in attics / crawl spaces. I like the large volume when used for junction boxes or devices requiring roomy boxes. The one issue which I have had is that the metal single gang covers which I use, very often have screws which are too short to screw onto the box.

things always can be improved like using screws instead of nails.
